I have three cups daily of coffee, no side effects shown, stress seems to be a trigger foe me with afib so try to manage that

I reckon stress is the biggest factor for Afib. The nervous system when challenged interacting with cardiac electrical nodes resulting in irregular heart beats. That is how I understand it, specially in my personal situation.
Could be different for other people, I suppose.
Thank you Doc, for sharing with us, much appreciated.
    With loving kindness 💜

I’m okay with one cup of coffee. Any type of stress is my biggest trigger for afib

ive cut back on the coffee but havent quit. I dont find it as something that sets my afib off. But Stress is a way higher factor along with the increase in Blood pressure it brings. Instead of 8 scoops in my Bodum Im now doing 3 with less water to still have a flavorful cup of Joe. watch your stressors. I think they are way more of a imput to afib then a cup of coffee . 300 mgs is a good target /day to aim for. Could you plz comment on flecainmide and caffein-alcohol use. i cant find anything on it

I can't touch it! Even too much DECAF is bad for me! I had to stop it completely!

ADHD! I can drink caffeine or have my doctor prescribe me stimulants with major side effects and legal consequences. As a doctor, you don't get paid if I don't have to buy my solutions from a pharmacy.

Just understanding it's a poison the plant uses to defend itself would help people... No studies needed... It's not a food, it's at BEST a drug/medicine.
