"Chefs will often take excess food home from the restaurant rather than waste it."- I didn't catch it exactly. Who can explain it exactly?
Davud Nazarov So.. chefs cook. They cook with ingredients, for example, bread. However, even when they finish the day's sale, there might be leftovers. So the chefs take the "excess" bread home.
Hai BBC could you hold a program about IELTS excercise?
Massive efforts @BBC ,,thanks ,,,,dream to be there .
This is the greatest program which I have never watched before.
Hi Kathrine you have a gorgeous accent💕

BBC News Review : YOU ARE THE BEST.
Good job, excelent... 😔👏👏👏
Is drive verb or noun
'to drive' a car for example, is a verb. If you for 'a drive' in car, then it's a noun. A 'drive' is also a wide path for parking a car on and that's also a noun.
I need subtitle
Hi TOO LATE! News Review is recorded in a natural, unscripted format, so sadly we are not able to provide subtitles or a transcript. If you are looking for a news-related programme with subtitles, why not give Lingohack a try?
Here is the playlist: ruclips.net/video/IrWXlU8rlCA/видео.html
Hope that helps!
My english level creeps every day with BBC learning English. Thanks so much.
Please tell me if the use of the verb "to creep" is correct in my answer.
Hi Yves DOUALLA SILIKI. Thank you for your comment. We are glad you find our content useful.
Your use of the word 'creep' is not correct, I'm afraid. This verb has a negative connotation and it means 'occurs gradually and almost imperceptibly'. You could say, for example: "Mistakes creep into my English when I write quickly." (creep INTO - there is a preposition here). And 'creep' as a noun can be offensive.
The dictionary is your friend when you want to increase your vocabulary. Good luck with your studies!

Hi, guys. Thanks for your videos. May I ask you a question, please? Why does Cathrine pronounce the word "often" with " t" sound? Are there two ways of pronouncing it in English language? I was taught to pronounce it without "t" sound and all my British friends pronounce it like that too. Thanks for answering.
Britain must... stop being lazy and cook your own meals, won't be excessive sugar, salt, fat etc if you don't add it yourself :)
😂
