Soilwork delivers again. Was intrigued what they would do after David passed re new music. I know Björn writes a lot but this one was written by new member and long time stand in Simon. I think David would hugely approve. RIP man. For me there is no bad soilwork but like you said it very much reminds me of the living Infinite too. Still better than 99% of the bands out there and the live footage from these last 2 uk live shows sounds great - especially this song.
The Ride Majestic perfected The Living Infinite into one perfect album. Verkligheten saw a new drummer enter and they added more hard rock beats and groove to their sound. The bonus songs on that album are 10/10s Övergivenheten their last album was a masterpiece of melo death. They combined their previous 3 albums into one. Soilwork started as a thrash melo death band and progressed their sound with each album and era. This song is most likely a tribute to David Andersson. He was their lead guitarist and song writer who took his own life a few years back. This is an emotional track filled with anger and sorrow.
Nice!!!
