Still watching the video but, can I just stop to say... I freaking love your reaction style? Long, deep dives with multiple related videos, full engagement with lots of pausing/commentary (screw anyone who complains, like, that's the POINT of watching a reactor!), snappy editing, quick wit and a great sense of humor. Its so hard to remember this is the painfully shy 14 year old kid who burst into tears when they asked him to sing. Also its always interesting to see behind the scenes. In a way you understand why they are so big and why you never hear anybody refusing to work with them again. They extend their collaborative way of working from their BTS brothers to others. Did you notice the bow. Jungkook bowed to the people he worked with. Hes probably one of the biggest stars they have ever worked with, but he has no Star Complex. As he said once all the members of BTS are nice people. They brought him up well.💜
I never would have thought that about JK, He is such a talented artist he has a natural gift and a sound that is so unique to just him ! 💜
He was 13 when he first started. He talks about it here (start at :45). He began his trainees days June, 2011 and turned 14 -September 1, 2011. 😊

@@_LVLUP_He has 10+ years of experience with the biggest group in the world. As another commenter said, he was shocked when he was told he would be main singer (basically central singer) when he had six older hyungs. He learned from them, and added his own determination. He declared he would be a singer and drove Suga nuts by singing everywhere he went. The thing is, he's absolutely good at everything he touches - athletics, painting & drawing, filming, composing, cooking, even directing. I'm pretty mad he has to be in the military right now. He adores Army, he adores his six hyungs, and I hope when they get back they can have side gigs as well as BTS. (Some already have). Some of us (like me, I'm 68), are so proud of our baby jungkookie.
@@1badlibrarian I read he's chosen to go as an army cook. According to those that have done it its one of the physically hardest jobs in the army as you are doing alot of heavy lifting. You are also more physically active for a greater part of the day. As opposed to alot of the other jobs described as a lot of waiting around interspersed with periods of intense activity. It's pretty continuous for the cooks.
Politicians in Korea were having fun using BTS for clout and dangling the possibility of a military exemption in front of them. BTS isn’t going to let themselves be used in political games, so even though they didn’t receive their orders to report, they voluntarily enlisted. RM said he can’t criticize his country if he is not doing his duty as a citizen. I’m incredibly proud of them for this. JK is young and didn’t need to go for several years, but he cut his solo activities short to he could join his brothers. I just love them so much.
Thats amazing ! so much respect for them , not a lot of men would do that if they didnt have too. There a special kind of group thats for sure !
One of the things that I love about BTS is that from the beginning of their training days they filmed everything. That’s why armies are so dedicated because of their transparency. They showed not only their dedication and hard work but their personalities. It also shows their involvement with every step of process in making songs, mvs, performances and so on. All of them are perfectionists when it comes to their music. What you see in these behind the scene videos is only a fraction of time that Jungkook or all of the members put into before they do the mvs or performances. That’s why it only takes a day or two to complete the mvs. The amount of time they spend working on their music is incredible.
Jin will be back in June and J Hope will be discharged in October this year. The rest of the members will be back in June, 2025. Even though they are not active theirs songs are still charting, especially their older songs as armies are in full support no matter what. All the members planned their enlistment and absence extremely well and as they completed projects prior to enlistment and to be released after enlistment. V is releasing a new song soon, J Hope released a new album which has sold out in the US and now only option is a waitlist. Suga’s D Day tour is going to be out in the theaters around the world, and so much more. When they left for the military they didn’t leave us behind is how I feel. I really enjoyed watching this with you and look forward to the next time. 💜
In addition to J-Hop's album (one of the songs in collaboration with JK), there will also be a documentary film. And the album is Vol.1, so there is hope for Vol.2 ;-) Jin will probably also record an album after leaving the army.
And we are still waiting for Jimin and Jungkook's travel vlog, RM's mysterious project, JK's surprise in June, apparently Jimin was also recording something, so we can expect something from him too. And there are also rumors about JK's collaboration with Bieber and Ariana Granda. And the TT accounts that JK started following before his military service are also "suspicious" (maybe further collaborations).
There will be a lot going on.

I saw the prop maker of the wings posted in his IG that JK actually scared them when he wear the wings because he starts jumping around and they never tested it that way 😅. Luckily nothing happened. They said he's very sweet (I think every person who ever worked with him said the same thing).
Not sure who suggested the wings but BTS already have similar wings in black swan.
As for yeah!, well they shoot tik tok dance together. It was posted at Usher's tik tok. They also make another tik tok dance for standing next to you.
Although they are not around, they left a lot of pre recorded contents. There will be Suga's movie, V's new song, j-hope's new album (there's a song with JK😉). Before we know it, Jin is back😊.
I still miss JK the most. Hope that baby bunny and the rest of BTS members will stay safe.

This mv is an homage to Baz Luhrman’s Romeo+Juliet. The set where the limos are gathered is almost a complete replica of a set used in the movie. The mv was shot in Budapest, Hungary partly in a now-abandoned art deco electric plant.

I'm sure someone will make a comment that's more detailed and informative than mine, but I just have to shout out the dancers for a sec... JK isn't kidding when he praises them. That's a handful of world-class choreographers there, and JK's got them being his backup dancers, lol. Apparently, he reached out and asked them personally. Persuasive power of the golden maknae!
One of the dancers in particular-the Filipino guy with the shaved sides (blonde in the Usher vid), the one who is usually right next to JK and being all playful with him-is Brian Puspos. He was Jimin and JK's favorite choreographer back when they were much younger and significantly less famous... and those two would practice Brian's choreographies in their free time (there's some cool old recordings).
Big Hit commissioned Brian's choreography for one of BTS' earlier songs, "Butterfly." Several years later, he also did the choreography for Jimin's solo song, Serendipity. Both absolutely gorgeous! But apparently, the way kpop does choreo commissions is all remote, so none of them ever met in person (in fact, Brian explained in a later interview that he had no idea what group he was even working with, for Butterfly... it was all arranged through the company.
But yeah, JK personally sought out Brian. And JK, who is now the waaaay more famous of the two, was still star struck to meet him. It was super cute. They became fast friends, though. They had some hilarious social media interactions during the Golden promotions era.

Jungkook was never shy when he perform. He always shows his energetic/ subtle sexy aura.
But he is introverted and he is not taltative. He is very wise/thoughtful when he speak.
He is not full confident in speeches. But when he is alone on his live he speaks very kindly.

Talking about their knowledge of Martial Arts, I beieve Jungkook has studied Taekwondo. The guy with the biggest martial arts experience is Jimin, you might enjoy a video called The Athleticism of Park Jimin, it's eye opening.
Watching all the behind the scenes is great, I love how Jungkook manages to be a firm perfectionist without offending anybody. Everyone who ever worked with him will always praise him and want to work with him again.

Same for me i became Army in 2020 because of JK...this man is my ult. Bias but i love all 7 so so much and i support al of them, no matter what they do!
When one of them is out we feel so awful too, each one brings something in our lives what we need, that's what made BTS to what they are today..they all are so different but so equal. BTS =7 and being an REAL ARMY means ARMY💜BTS. It's okay if you like/ love only 1 member, everyone has that right but many throwing hate torwards an other member and that's NOT ACCEPTABLE, they see everything and they are all 7 so close, they raised Jungkookie in a way, and than seeing some hate comments, that hurt like 💩 for them, hurt one and all 7 sharing the same pain, sadness.,and jk said himself BTS is 7. We need the solo stans and are gratefull for what they doing. We just don't need the toxic ones they are not welcome. If you like one or 2 or whatever that's Okay as long they respect the other members.

Tanu Muino directed the video. She has also done Harry Styles "As It Was" very popular director. For this video, she wanted to pay homage to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet. The visuals are spot on. In the movie, when Romeo meets Juliet, she is wearing wings. Tanu put the wings on her Romeo, Jungkook. BTS has tons of wing references in their work. In Blood. Sweat and Tears Jungkook is playing Icarus. Who wore waxen wings and flew too close to the sun.
The fight scene is also a direct nod to MJ and Romeo and Juliet. Not so much to do with him knowing martial arts. But definitely check out the videos about them doing martial arts. 😂
Rehearsals are where you get most of the kinks out so when you get to set, things go much faster. Practice, practice, practice.

He did say. It was 2 days for the shoot. That included the music video shoot and the performance video shoot. The performance video is where he wears the sequined suit.

I just want to say : you ARE a true Army. It's not because you haven't been following them for a long time that you're not part of us. You might be a "baby army" as you're new but it doesn't mean you're not true to them and their craft 😊 And yep, we all miss them dearly. But they've been working so hard in advance in order for us not to feel left alone when they'd be serving, that we can't be anything but grateful really 🥰 We're so proud of them !

Thanks for reacting to both the original mv and to the collab with Usher which really was a collab made in heaven. They work so well together with such similar styles. I loved how pleased JK was to work with Usher and his incredibly talented support dancers who are all well known choreographers. He seemed particularly pleased to see Brian Puspos. He was keen to show off Brian's chest tattoo. It shows what a great artist JK is and how meticulous he is in his performances. He has gone to do his military leaving on a high note. All of BTS seem to have been very positive in their attitude towards their impending service. There seems to have been little to no trepidation about taking a step into the unknown. We just have to stay positive with them even though we all miss them terribly.

In the video he said it was the first day and the second day of the MV shoot.
That was his album. There are three versions of the CD version (green, white, and blue), and one version of the Weverse albums version (digital). The CD versions have different photo concepts, all relating to Jungkook's personas, and things he likes, like his boxing hobby. etc. Yes, I have all four albums. And I'm all all ARMY's would love to have JK's album signed in gold. But that one is for Usher.
Usher and Jungkook did a TikTok dance challenge of his song Yeah. It was posted on JK's TikTok account.

It's an honor for BTS members to go into the military. And South Korea is still at war with North Korea. North Korea does not recognize South Korea's independence. The situation is therefore in a very dangerous. The military force must be in a good state of preparation. This situation is terribly sad and saddens people.

Maybe this is one of those whichever video you see first things. I actually like the original a tiny bit better than the Usher version. We don’t get JK’s high notes in his “after glow” part, we don’t get the formation during “base and drums” and we don’t get some of the intense, passionate shots in the other places in the remix like in this one. It may also be because I am sentimental and this is the very first title track off of his debut album so as a fan BEFORE his album dropped I am particularly attached to this version (if that makes sense). I can definitely understand either version being people’s faves. They are both amazing. 😊
I’ve enjoyed your journey. Please watch him live. Three great live performances at iHeart radio - by far his best vocal performances and with a live band: “SNTY”, “Hate You” and “Seven”. His next best vocals imo are any of these three: Audacy radio (4 songs), Jimmy Fallon (“SNTY”) and M Countdown (“SNTY”). Hr also did a fun surprise performance at Time Squaste where the public was o my given like 30 min notice. I think they teased the day before that something was going to happen the next day and some private eye type ARMY figured it out, but for most it was a surprise. 😊

It is mandatory to serve in the military in Korea, but there are exceptions. For example, men who are mentally ill due to cruciate surgery or mentally ill, such as panic disorder, are exempted. Such a man doesn't have to serve in the military. As a Korean ARMY, I'm so proud that all BTS serve in the army. Because it means that they are physically and mentally healthy men. And because serving in the military in their position can be recognized by all the people. In Korea, the general public, not fans, is very strict about military service. There are many entertainments who have been heavily criticized for military service. 😅 It's so sad that I haven't seen their stage for 2 years. However, BTS continues to release various contents for ARMY while serving in the military, so the time waiting for them is not boring. In addition, Seokjin will be discharged from the military in June this year. Hobi will be discharged in September. 😊

Not every South Korean man has to join the military some are exempted by SK Military Admin. Exceptions may be made for “persons with special skills in the field of arts and sports” who win a prize in competitions ACKNOWLEDGED by the commissioner of the Military Manpower Administration. BTS haven't been acknowledged by SK Govt. I personally think that it's so that SK Govt can use them for PR although Hybe is doing their best to stop that.

Actually Jimin is the one who studied, for 8 years, kendo and has a black belt in taekwondo. Jungkook enjoys boxing and often does that as part of his exercise routine.

Korea is split in half and one half has missiles pointed at the other half. The other half has no democracy. The people in North Korea suffer. Nobody wants to do their service but BTS knows they are showing an example. As they represent 0.3% of their tiny nations GNP, they could have got exemption. They never asked for it. South Korea has had comparative peace for 70 years because everybody is trained to protect it. But the leadership of North Korea wants the country united under their autocratic rule.

Besides all the homages to MJ armys on Twitter have connected the dots and found a LOT of direct references to Baz Luhrmann's Romeo and Juliet movie - the wings, the stage is almost identical, Jk sign in the heart, rival families setting w the girl and the fight etc
Also ,there was some confusion about the actress , it's not the one who played Diana in The Crown, armys got too excited 😂

Hi! To confirm your thoughts: the video is an homage to Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, confirmed by the video director on her Instagram. So many callbacks and tributes. The fight scene happens in the film, too. It's the warring families of the two lovers. "Seven" songwriters Andrew Watt, John Bellion and Cirkut strike again with this incredible song. Other credited songwriters are Henry Walter and Ali Tamposi. Also, like "Seven", it was produced by Watt and Cirkut. JK said Andrew Watt did a great job of directing him with his vocals. 💜

Filmed at an old out-of-use power plant and also at a speedway (for racing cars) in Budapest Hungary. The woman is a Ukrainian model. They built the whole set that looks like a stage inside the power plant. MV director said the MV is based on Baz Luhrmann’s movie Romeo & Juliet (the one with Claire Danes/Leo DiCaprio). Same music producers as Seven- Andrew Watt/ Circuit and Andrew Watt is one of the writers. All English album of songs based on love ( good and bad sides)- for the international audience. JK is aiming to be a “big global pop star” 💜

After JK recorded "Seven", Andrew Watt offered to show him other songs he'd been working on and JK liked this one. He said he would practice it so he would be ready to record the next day. He recorded the whole song in four hours. --Suchwita, ep. 21.
Tbh I didnt even notice till now that the whole song is in English !
