Tactical Fitness | Kettlebell Rack & One Hand Handgun Shooting WOD

  • Welcome to Tactical Fitness training series where we share most outstanding workouts of the day that combine strength and agility endurance test mixed with tactical sport shooting.
    WOD:
    1) Go to 25 meters starting position
    2) Rack the kettlebell
    3) Make 2 shots with 1 hand at 25 meters position
    4) Move to 17 meters position
    5) Make 2 shots with 1 hand at 17 meters position
    6) Move to 10 meters position
    7) Make 2 shots with 1 hand at 10 meters position
    8) Move to 17 meters position
    9) Make 2 shots with 1 hand at 17 meters position
    10) Move to 25 meters position
    11) Make 2 shots with 1 hand at 25 meters position
    * Each shot miss gives you penalty of 5 sit-ups that you need to do after completion of exercise.

    When you shoot one handed if you cant the gun slightly inwards you will have better control and easier follow up shots since it will recoil in a predictable fashion, remember recoil looks for the path of least resistance show it one

      Hm. I will try this out. It's hard to focus on shooting with 20kg KB on the shoulder :D

      Recoil will be just as predictable, but it will go up and obscure the target instead of slightly to the side. Your sights will more than likely become misaligned, though, which may or may not matter depending what distance you're at. I wouldn't use this method for those reasons, also I'd use the same method always instead of canting sometimes (bad for training!).
