I have translated a lot of your example sentences into english and am about to translate them back into Chinese for practice.
I´ve just tried to translate the sentence:
"I can´t think of any method that can help you". ...and came up with:
我想不出来一个可以帮你的办法。
Your version was: 我想不出来什么办法可以帮你。
Is my version incorrect and if so, why?

In this example, the object of the verb is 办法 which is not a place or location. So I suppose it's okay to put 来 before it. But it seems unnatural to me. And because the whole object is long, putting 来 at the end also seems unnatural. In this case, perhaps it's best to just leave it out. It wouldn't affect the meaning.
