@Chuck Ginther Nah. OG's know that with Rays decline, came AH's decline. Hands down. They picked back up a TAD with sky factory 3/early gmod but it's been a slippery slope for them overall since Ray left.
I personally loved the 08-2018 era. Once the layoffs, scandals, work environment exposed etc, I stopped enjoying their content. As well as AHWU ending. I unsubscribed to them early March of this year. It was sad to do but I couldn’t enjoy their content anymore as well not seeing Michael, Geoff, Jack, Gavin, enough.

When I noticed the time period that I started watching them less, it was the same time they were bought out. You're on point. Tbh, I think Matt and Burnie got out when they did for a reason, oddly at the same time when hundreds of CEOs were resigning right before the corona hit.

I always felt like the summer of 2014 was a golden age for Let's Play and AH. Probably because I was a kid and my life was easier so everything seemed better lmao
Found them when fails of the weak just started out and they quickly became my favourite stuff to watch after school. Loved the the first gta 4 let’s plays and cops and crooks. Such a shame I can’t go back in time to relive all those memories one last time.
I almost cried when I realized that Farmer Geoff from Skyblock was like 5+ years old... It feels like a year ago max, and I'm now reevaluating my entire life.
I remember Ray saying that for him, 2013-2014 were the peak years for him. As much as I agree... 2018 was also a really fun year for AH at the time. Like wow I didn't realise just how much came from 2018-2019 in reflection.
This was such a nice metaphorical drive down memory lane. Although I missed a good amount of content due to military service from 2017-2021 it's nice to see all the memories that were created with the new gen of AH as well.
@@arbitercampos3747 Different jobs can have vastly different schedules. Plenty have bank hours, but others can have you on the clock for weeks at a time. I only recently checked back into RT/AH since I enlisted in 2015.
This put such a positive spin on the passage of time but I can help but to feel so defeated by how each advancing year reminded me of my personal struggles. Idk stuff like this shows how closely connected my good internet memories are to my irl negative experiences.

Stumbled upon them in April 2013. I was just a freshman in college looking up playthroughs of Saints Row the Third. Going from Michael and Geoff playing coop, to their WWE 2k13 videos, to regularly watching them play Minecraft and GTA. For better or worse, I'm sticking with them til the end.

I found achievement hunter in 2012 just typing in minecraft, and found them third video down and it was let's play minecraft episode 1 and they had eight episodes in and I subscribed to them. 10 years I've been a fan since then.
2013-2015 was always my favorite period of AH and I honestly stopped watching it all together when Burnie left but I still watch many old videos like podcasts and let’s plays very often
Good video, lots of great memories! Could have definitely been longer depending on how you wanted to go about it. Even with all the bad things he did, I do wish there more Ryan clips in here. He was a key part of AH's growth, and remembering history means remembering all of it; both good and bad. Still, a fun trip down memory lane. I thank Minecraft wipeout for bringing me into the AH fanbase. Happy to have been in two fails of the weak as well ^^
I’m glad they’ve been a part of my life for a good chunk of my life. I’ve stopped watching for two or three years I think but kinda wished I didn’t. Either I’ve out grown it or I stopped being the target audience. Still, it feels good to see them still having fun and with new people.

Felt like 2017 beginning marks the downward decline. Ray is gone in 2015, we’re not going to talk about that guy that left in 2020, the roosterteeth lay off/fired multiple staffs due to budget cut, founders left, many staff resign due to toxic environment, and more. I could list off more but not that I can think off. Like when the last time their video hit a million views or more. It just sad
I started watching around 2016-17 i think. During the Geoff Farm era. It was a wild ride, That's when I needed something different to watch, started to use YT than watching normal TV, and looking a new community to engage in. AH peaked for me around 2020/21 (I even cancelled my FIRST last year), where the content became boring and a few shows became less and stopped altogether and the some of the cast where changing and having less onscreen time. My tastes have changed so i dont consume as much of RT/AH/FH content anymore. Ive moved to podcasts and some minor shows. But thats a good history. I think im gonna miss the behind the scenes content the most. "take the taco" for Eg. Hope the next generation will have good time with AH for another 10years.
I hope them moving to their new office means we get more between the games type stuff again like lava chicken etc. They fucked up the "temp" space a little bit but I feel like they've been holding back still until they're in their actual space. Also BK and Joe have brought new life and fit in seamlessly imo, especially Joe

I was there when they were starting minecraft, idk the exact episode but i remember being hype when they could finally sprint and when they did the end for the first time, scooter patrol, the announcement of the xbone, when gta v was finally released, all the worms videos, SO MANY MEMORIES WATCHING THESE GUYS, this was also the time RvB did the chorus trilogy which was PHENOMENAL, and honestly just the prime time of RT content in general. What I'd give to be a kid again watching all these beautiful moments take place for the first time again😭😭
