Ok. My life story. It's been 12 years (minus 2018-2020) I listen to korean artists. After a while, I started listening to artists like Urban Zakapa fanatically (and some other indie artists I cannot remember right now) because of their genre. I stopped listening to korean songs as it's part of my teen years but also because I was living in Korea and well, I did not feel like listening to korean songs anymore. Here I go again~ after two years of me living in Seoul, away from this place but !it will always be a part of me! It's not the language, it's the connection with this place. I'm not fond of Korea, I'm just thankful of my life experiences this place has offered to me, my personal growth & let's not forget the beautiful teen years because of the excitement of finding out about a new place, language, style. YES, my solo life there is something I reminisce a lot, it just hits me on some days & I feel like it was a completely different dimension. On my days off work, I would just go for my ice americano, maybe at coffee roasters around Hapjeong, Yeonnam. So this song reminds me of these sunny days in Seoul when I finally settled up there with my job. I had nobody but I had me, I felt safe. These beautiful walks around the Gwangwhamun area or if I did not want to go far, I would just wander in Yeonnam's streets. ...Ok... Why did I just write all of this here? :| Ah yes, because this place will always be a part of me, it always pops up in front of me in various ways :) I'm like "I cannot escape" but ... it's been a fruitful soul experience. I feel so grateful, hope whoever was bored enough & read this post, to actually get my vibes full of gratefulness & serenity. And if you are even in deep sht, just reminding you I made it no matter the panic attacks, even if there were months of me having just one meal a day :) You'll make it & we will both make it.
