Wet shrink? Never would have thought of that. And the technique you're using to spread the fingers out is GENIUS. Wish I knew this sooner. Thanks!
Wow the shrink properties of the film you used are amazing.
Wet shrinking requires a lot of skill especially with that back window!! Good Job!!
It was therapeutic watching you focus and work. Sick job! 🤙🏼
He made this look so easy now watch me go and try and before I can finish my H pattern CREASE!
Nerves of steel. Great video.
Συγχαρητήρια,πολύ καλή δουλειά. Δουλεύεις με πολύ άνεση.Χαιρετίσματα από την Ελλάδα.
Not nearly as easy as it looks in case you’re watching and thinking it’s a breeze lol
Good job !
Very helpful tutorial, thank you very much!
Cheers mate
great video !
you are the best man :)
That back glass alwas was a pain in the a$$$$ 4 me until i saw this guy, thanks a lot you've helped me a lot! that technique is awesome
rest looks realy perfect
Nice video with very details. I tint my own car , if I see your video earlier it would've save me 2 piece of firm for the windshield. Learn it hard way the hot air gun was Necessary tool
Damn g, you’re good man 👍🏽
Thank you
Nice video very detail loock this video
Very good 👍
very nice 👍
A man of few words.
Very nice
Thank you! this is exactly what i was looking for. Amazing job!
Thanks mate
You know a guy mastered his thing when he makes it look super simple and easy to do... That was really satisfying to watch, awesome job mate ! I was wondering... at approximatly which temperature should you set the heat gun at so it isn't too hot and let you have time to work the film out ? Any clue would be greatly appreciated !
You can tell that this guy's done this a few times! 😂
nice job. Can you tell me, where i can find that board? THX
Great job!! Where did you get the board to peel the film?
Perfect danke dir
This back window kicked my ass today… Do you wet shrink all back windows or just tough curved windows like this one?
Where did you get that peel board from ???
What heat are you using on the heat gun?
Are those just large dry erase boards? Or something different
What’s that board from 3m? Just a regular whiteboard?
Everytime i try to stretch it out i just crease or rip the film.... Or make it really crinkly
So it can go on the outside 🤣 I thought it was inside only. Saved me the headache on my Nissan Versa Note SV hatchback
I have a Golf GTI and not a fan of tinting so something really light like this would be cool for me
what soap of water or you using?
What radio u listening to ?
Great job! But the film is too light for my taste 😂
XaviThinksBlue Yeah I know, this job was for an older lady who wanted as much visibility as possible.
same but you gotta be able to see but i agree it is really light and it looks almost the same
That’s like a 99% tint lol
Takee it. Off. It to darkk.
i guess I'm kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good website to watch newly released movies online?
En la parte de arriba te quedaron burbujas, te diste cuenta y ahí pasabas rápido la cámara como para que no se viera
What do you do in case the third brake light is glued to the glass?
cut around..
If we can’t remove the 3rd brake light we will cut around it.
If can take out,,,no need cut sir
In Bulgaria we say: "Factory brother"
I've spent 30 minutes tryna get the film off lolol any tips???
i see you did the cut out for the wiper but when you actually install it how do you do it so you dont see the bit that you've cut into
When I trim the film I go a few millimeters past the dot matrix so there is no gaps once installed.
@@tkotinting1631 i know im sounding stupid but where is the dot matrix😂😂😂😂
@@DFranses around the border there is black and then little tiny dots part of the glass which gives the illusion of a faded border
There was bubbles in the middle of the window at the top
Why does this dude look like he’s from the netherlands. I always guess where the scenery is before looking, this gave me dutch vibes. A golf is mainly used in The Netherlands. A polo looking t shirt and this man looks dutch.
And then i see that this is in Australia 🤯
🤣My dad is from Bremen, Germany but I’m born here in Australia. Nice observations😁
@@tkotinting1631 oh wow haha. I guess I wasn’t far from wrong! Nice video btw👌
I do same work in dubai tint and ppf 😘
Is that CR 70
I just want to know is it a reason the tint is clear?
The customer requested this light tint as they want the benefits of window tint but still being able to see out clearly at night.
Wonder if you can tint in limo black the same way
@@jonathanclegg5267 They can. Just request for darker tint film.
@@jonathanclegg5267 It's possible
How to do v-kool hot
how to avoid screen printing?
i hate these back windows. I always have side bubbles for some reason.. no matter how much i shrink
Easy to shrink clear tint on this window it’s thin and forms easy , new models are easy compared to when they first came out , hopefully you didn’t pick up dirt when your tint was touching the bottom trim
Do you need to pre heat-shrink the other four windows?
Ken-Pam Loo not on this car, only the hatch needs shrinking.
I just did my daughter's CrZ and It took me an hour to shrink it down because.....it was my first shrink. But it turned out fantastic.
With my 135.00 roll ...@100 feet.....I will be able to do many cars. These tint places around here done lost their fuckin minds with pricing....blamed it on COVID but the fact is......the stuff they buy is online as well so I see their material costs.
Nice work, but you can 2x faster if you do dry
Adan destefani coelho thanks mate, next time i’ll do a video on dry shrinking👍
Yeah right

failed so many times, Gonna try again tomorrow 😃
How do you screw it up > When shrinking the film to fit on the outside of the glass or when affixing it to the inside, and is the screw up with creases or air bubbles? Also when you realized you have done a bodgy job is it easy to just peel off so no harm done?
Wish my attempt could come out as slick as this video.
Don't Give Up
@@smathers3104 When you've just installed it yes it comes off super easy
Is that 70%?
blaino1 This film is Suntek CXP80 so is an 80% film
@@tkotinting1631 80% ??? What a waste! I dont understand why people put that shit on their car. Cant even tell that its tinted
Tinting is so hard.
It's not it needs practice
Good job. I can know the quality.
The film used is from Suntek and it's called CXP80. It is a non metal, nano-hybrid carbon technology
next time wash the back window only fron left to right and not up and down to make sure you cant damage the weater element of the window...cost you a new window wen you brake it ]exedently
Boy looks like the master window tinter here needs to teach you a couple things put a white cloth glove on your left hand you won't feel the heat gun as much....
There's one tip and have a tornado effect with your heat gun swirl it....
You don't need to use a hard card you can use the white glove to shrink the fingers
Thanks for your comment, I do many different ways its just this video was a wet shrink with a card. I personally prefer dry shrink with a glove👍🏻
Thats a tint? Might as well have left it.
😏
In this way, Golf5 will never make it!
Unless this was ceramic tint, I don’t see the point in even tinting the window. It’s good for the shop though, money is money.
That's not a easy window to tint at all
No it's not
