Why is the use of baby powder ?
Baby powder keeps the film from sticking to the glass as your applying heat to form it to the glass...a little much for my taste on this vdo...i use a brown jersey glove about a dollar a pair here in Texas...put a little in a glove n tap it on the window...smooth it out n then do your wet H pattern then tack it down...with those big fingers tint stress I usually leave the film long n shrink it...gives you more leeway...n i also throw some heat to underneath the fingers to help shrink them down...make sure you clean both sides of the tint to not bring baby powder to your tint application...n i hate taking panels apart or off less u take apart less you have a chance of breaking something...but everyone does it differently n have their own technique...its not etched in stone on how to do tint...
@@resca5738 this vid and your advice is so helpful i just start randomly tint and never ever did this before I thought i just tint it but i frustrating because it keep sucking air on the sides and i try zo hard with heatgun and spray with water on it ..but i ended up with a full 1.5m tint in a trashcan 🤣. This vid shows where i was afraid for (thought i can not shrink it (menual dont told me) its just to vaporize the water only) but that heatgun is the key for me,, the H and the babypowder too, the part i did not good because ofcourse the shape of the glas so much Thanks!!!!
This is not the best way tint... Good but not the best.
Result is what's count... What is best for you does not mean it is better
@@mule666 well i am a 20 years pro in this job, i did hundred times of this car. There are 14 different ways to tint rear windows (it depends the type of material), i can say this is not the best way for the app and result.

@@washburn10r I work in construction for more then 30 years and can tell you one thing... Even if you done something for 20 years does not mean you're way is the better way... You never stop learning... People who say they know better only because they've done it for a long time are not the people I would trust on my car
