We as humans seldom get the opportunity to practice mercy. This was a beautiful act of mercy.
Once again, Tia, you prove that all your years and experience in dog rescue make you the person to call with the heartbreaking tough ones. Gringa was one of the most beautiful dogs I have seen. You handled everything in an amazing manner. Thank you for having the heart that you have,😊❤

I am bawling!!! It brought back that sinking broken hearted feeling of when I had to put my buttercup down because I couldn't find anyone to help with her cost of her care because at the same time I was in and out of the hospital for months with pancreatitis...wish I hadn't watched this before bed...bless her heart...no more pain baby😢😢😢

I'm so sorry for the loss of sweet Gringa. The people who left her sick and dying will not get away with what they did. There is a higher justice they will face.

The only thing I can do, is cry for her...for the way she was mistreated and neclected... for the love and vriendship she had to miss.

To leave that dog is so mean. My furbabies are part of my family, from the moment I bring them home. Prayers for Gringa, I hope she is spoiled rotten in heaven.

The most difficult thing I've ever had to do in my life was sit in a room with a fur baby while a vet put them to sleep. It's very difficult to do and it never gets easier throughout the years. Even with that heart-breaking experience, I still can't live without a fur baby. I hate the goodbye, but my life will never be completed without them. RIP Gringa. Karma will find the monster that left you there.

Yes, so very sad & the psychopaths that own that house should be charged with dog-neglect & abuse. I have had to send off 8 dogs & one cat & am very broken-hearted every time. It is never easy, but it is kind when all self-respect is gone & the sweet ones are hoping to be saved from pain & sickness. Thank you for the happy & hard yards.
You gave her the last act of kindness. That's more than whoever had her, did for her.

Very devastating case. Rescue is very hard but absolutely worth it. Gringa is now in peace, no more pain. The best decision I ever made was getting into rescue. Pitbulls are the most abused and misunderstood breed of dog in the world. Tia and Villalobos are amazing people. I have many hoodies and tshirts that I wear to support what they do. Please, if you see a dog in need, doesn't matter the breed, call it in. And don't stop calling places until the dog is saved.

@carolmakin8075...Right? And if the owner was having financial problems, they could have called around asking if anyone could help them instead of abandoning the poor thing in the middle of nowhere. At least the dog had her last few minutes with people that cared about her.
People who abuse animals do so because they think they will get away with it.
Its heartbreaking to Tia and to all of us to knoe that she could be saved if there was help long before. So sad but unfortunately not all can be saved. Thank you Tia for your efforts.It was the right decision.She was sffering too much.

I will never be able to understand how some human beings can be so cruel and heartless. It is very unsettling to think that these monsters walk among us in society and we might know them as co-workers or clerks at neighborhood store or even a neighbor but we don't know the evil that hides inside.
I respect and admire Tia, the whole Villalobos rescue team, and all animal rescue heroes. This world is a much better place because of them.

It’s heartbreaking she suffered for so long but I’m glad Tia was able to make that cal and give Gringa the dignity of euthanasia and peace and freedom from pain
