Amen. Always used jack stands in the past. Was very surprised to see this one POP, new right out of the box. I wonder how many others were less fortunate with chinese products. Thanks for the encouraging words.
I watched a video online that made me scared to try it. Then time passed and it had to be done. Clearly, it's extremely simple! ;-) Thanks for watching AND your feedback! Hope you subscribe and share! CHEERS!
Maaaaan isn't that good to know🙌 , not in a million years I would realize that this tortion bar could be removed like that😂👌 Very helpful video😍 , thank you so much , keep it up👌 Can you make a video about the Freewheel Clutch Actuator? That's besides the selonoid valve connection , I have a serious problem with it , actually I need to do the all thing from scratch , I have just ordered the selonoid valve & the actuator from China & I will reserve them soon , hope you make a video about the all thing from electric connection to that small pipe mountain and all . Thank you again Keep it up,,,
THANKS BRO! Yes...that's why I procrastinated for so long on doing it. Thought it was going to be a tough job. Turned out to be SUPER easy. Thanks very much for watching AND the positive post! CHEERS!
Fellow RUclipsr, Have you ever had any issues with the front end shake of your vehicle. I have a 1997 montero sport (same set-up) not lifted and I've got a front end shake at 60 and above that I just can't find the source
Hello! No...I haven't, but many factors can cause this. Old tires with hernias, bulges, broken steel belts, loose tread...etc. Second is steering and suspension alignment.
Hi there. Nice video. What year does the Pajero have this torsion bar ? What size tyre are you running there ? And does it also have some form of bodylift.
Thanks very much! Front torsion bars from 1982 to 2000. Tire size is 265/75R/16, which translates to about 31.5" if memory serves. Although, I am pretty sure many guys are fitting 33" simply by adjusting the torsion bars, which is my plan when the current tires are done. Some guys fitting air-bags or air shocks to the rear for a little extra lift. I have removed lots of decorational and/or unnecessary parts, so I think its a bit lighter, which brings the rear up slightly. I'll probably fit air-bags or air shocks soon. Thanks for commenting!
@@BrokeWrench Shipping would be insane expensive, but yes, Emu is good. Had their stuff on my old Land Rover. At the moment, I will focus on performance with a Kinugawa 15T Billet turbo and then is larger tires. I really just want something best suited for handling the wide variety of driving surfaces in the Philippines as quickly as possible and safely. Thanks for commenting!
Is there any possible way to lift the front of pajero, beside of adjusting the torsion bar. Or adding body lift? Is there any aftermarket parts i can buy?
Not really and not much point. Without serious suspension modification...and I DO mean SERIOUS...there is not much point to try lifting beyond torsion bars. Body lift is useless in terms of ground clearance.
No. The bars hold the same amount of weight regardless of position. Actually, the more incline, the less torque is applied, so technically, the opposite would be true.
Smart to have a safety stop. Never trust a jack
Great video.

Good to know how basic it is. I'm gonna re index mine too..thanx..👍

Nice job! Be careful always😘

Great camera work, thanks. Did it work out roughly 1" per spline?
That would be just about right...maybe 3/4"-ish.

Merci beaucoup pour les commentaires positifs ! Embrassez-vous de la France et des Philippines !
Entendi que você é francês e vive na filipina. É isso mesmo?
Thanks for this, need to do a k74 l200.
PERFECT....very glad to know it helped. ;-) Thanks for commenting as well.
Hola soy de chile se debe levantar almaximo de la barra de torsión
I just set my front to be about 1/4" higher than the rear. Measured based on wheel arch to center of each wheel hub.
@@offgridislandfamily no entender el ingles
is it harder suspension? is it more shakes driving off road??
NOT AT ALL. Only balances the front height to match the rear.
Super, ещё лучше если смазки с графитом

Lock nut size? 17mm?
It's been a couple years now, but that sounds right.
Great video minus the music, very distracting
Fair enough. Early video and think I've gotten it a bit more refined now. Need much more practice though

@@offgridislandfamily old man emu makes a couple different spring options. I'm not sure how shipping would work for you but they are reasonably priced

Tried to watch but couldn't deal with background music?/noise.
OK. This is a very early video. Probably right.

Should measure from the top of the hub.
Thanks for that. Next time I adjust suspension, I will use your advice.
One thing to say.... BLUE NITRILE GLOVES
I started working on cars at the age of 13 continued decades without. Hard to make the change, but you're right.
Doesnt it lower service life of torsion bar?
No. The bars hold the same amount of weight regardless of position. Actually, the more incline, the less torque is applied, so technically, the opposite would be true.
Im using 285x65x18 tire now. Its ok to reindex the torsion bar wt out adding any ball joint spacer? So some say it can affect the ball joint.
Hello! I only indexed / lifted just slightly beyond where the front CV axles are straight. They are not radically angled.
You heard of Jack stands lol
Good luck finding them in the province.
