LPU's 3rd Convocation Ceremony 2013

President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was the chief guest of the event, and President of Afghanistan, Mr Hamid Karzai was conferred on LPU's first Honorary Doctorate degree • President Pranab Mukherjee started his speech by applauding the role of LPU in redefining education and becoming the change agent in the society. • President of Afghanistan, Mr. Hamid Karzai in his acceptance speech thanked LPU for bestowing upon him the Doctorate degree and called upon the Indian establishment to contribute to the academic development of Afghanistan. • Governor of Punjab, Shri Shivraj V Patil presided over the convocation and Chief Minister Punjab S Parkash Singh Badal was the Guest of Honour
