While it sucks to have a terrible event happen, it truly did my heart good to see kind friends helping one another. Looking forward to seeing your adventures in Nepal! ❤

Hi, what a crazy few days, Philly and Keely are so fortunate that you were there for moral support, scary time having their home catching fire 🥵. Now, you now have to dash to the airport for NEPAL after saying goodbye to your new friends. Crickey - adventures ahead 😂
@@phillyandkeely glad you all met up and were able to share good times together during what must have been a stressful and anxious time for you two. Wishing you well for the rest of your journey, hopefully somewhere you can relax and doing what you enjoy the most. Take care and stay safe 🙏 ❤️

I spent some time in Nepal 20 years ago, it was a completely life changing experience. The Nepalese people are beautiful - very humble and reserved. If you get the chance I’d recommend trekking the trail up through the Sagarmatha National Park. The best place to start is from Lukla which is an experience in itself. Camping equipment in Kathmandu is super cheap and they’ll make you just about anything. The people living in the foothills of the Himalya are wonderful. The wildlife is great, mountain goats, eagles, vultures, etc. Hope you have a great time and come back refreshed. It certainly worked for me and also altered my perceptions forever.
Wishing you both the very best with the next adventure in Nepal hope it’s everything you wish for & so much more , fully support ye so fair play & good luck 👍👍👍
Worried about you guys ! US State Dept site : “ Do not trek alone” (in Nepal). Also, it looks like Liz misses her family and friends. I hope being so far away, for so long, won’t be too difficult for her. Stay safe guys ! ☘️
Enjoy your travels. If you have a look at camper vibe on You Tube and the break downs they have had in Europe in there Citroen Boxer campervan. Sadly not the best van to have as a base vehicle. Enjoy your travels backpacking. Oh Citroen mechanical parts are shared with Ford transit. All the best from Ireland vanno man.
We had a good two and a half years without many issues, just normal wear and tear stuff. I think getting off brand parts last year probably meant clutch wore out a lot quicker. Note to self. Get proper parts, better the universal parts I imagine. Still love the van even if she is a Citroen 🤣🤣
Enjoy Nepal. I lived and worked there for several years . Really good for backpacking. When you get there you will find the Nepalis call it 'NePAL' not the english way 'nepaul'! Lots of people commented on our video that they thought the mechanic hadn't done something right. To be honest we really dont know and a lot of things are lost in translation. I think it was linked to the first thing, but still bad luck lmao.
Yes, that was my thought, perhaps they damaged or disturbed something in the previous repair. I think it would be useful for people embarking on such trips to have some understanding of how vehicles work, even if they can't always do repairs themselves. At least then they could have stopped the repaired vehicle somewhere near the garage and checked for leaks, loose parts or whatever. I do my own repairs but I still tend to do a short test drive after I've done some work and check that everything is OK.
@@Phiyedough If someone ran a course on vehicle maintenance I would legit go, I think you are totally right having understandong of how our engine works would be so good for me.
