I'm still trying new things as it hasn't been that long the changes been live and I feel like he's due some small buffs again either next patch or the one after since they might need more data with the right items but to answer your question, I think top is generally suits him more now and is better ONLY with decent matchups, both lanes have bad matchups but champs like Kled and Illaoi can run you down with no chance of even farming If you get behind a single time as diving in top lane is so much easier. Personally I've been finding success in Q max mid as I did even before the patch but I think it suits my playstlye more, its more safe and can farm a lot better and even more kill potential but I know a lot of people like W max more, to be safe I would say Conq + Resolve/Sorcery is really good either way with Rocketbelt + Cosmic, need to test more with Fimbulwinter but whenever I get it, it actually feels so good so that's also a possibility. Long story short, I'll make a guide probably soonish as well and post it in my discord so If you're interested in that, there's that!
I tried it like last season in gm/chall lobies and it was gimmicky but still better than most "troll" buids, honestly it kinda worked but no idea with the crit changes that happened a while back, might have to try again, and If I do I'll upload a video about it as well

@@diogopombo9273 Yeah very true, If you go Grasp you're either going Sorcery or Precision secondary so you're at least losing 10 AH from not going both with Conq setup, Im sure against some matchups grasp can bully hard though so it's def more of a early game rune than conq at least.

@@kot7707 I recently kinda explained it in my discord but with the recent changes he's more suitable top, both lanes have really bad matchups and even top has some worse ones tbf but now that you're very encouraged to W max with what damage you had is gone, it's really hard to make sylas mid work against most mages in mid and trying to ask for a long fight. You can't fight Syndra for long in a short lane let alone one shot her now, need more time to see but I think top is looking better ngl

His winrate tanked a bit and I been testing a lot of builds on stream and honestly kinda set on a few ones that I will make a guide soon (for myself too honestly since it gets confusing) but with those he's actually kinda decent imo.
I would ban Illaoi, (Rumbe but maybe not anymore), and tbh not too sure yet since I played Sylas top before a bit but mainly with Q max. W and Q max are really different playstyles top but I dont see in any world beating an Illaoi with either playstyles. I'll make a top guide down the line with Sylas for sure so I'll answer there more in-depth
Kinda only can work as a fighter, yet to test assasin burst build with him on PBE but doubt it'll be any better, but I'll take the fighter style any day
@@PetriciteLoL I always played as a fighter, the HP bonus when healing is very small and the scaling is terrible, he became worse as a fighter and as an assassin in general
