How did you detach the handle and head from the original shaft? Do you have to cut the wire from the control box back to the battery box or will it unplug at the control box once opened up?

Hi it is long story pal .I started first from back side,and I cut the wire.I wish I could load video before I deleted.it was very bad accident nearly half an hour video.and you need the cut of hand grip so you easily rich to screws.and you need drill 3 big holes to carbon shaft.

Thank you for the insight. I figured I'd have to cut the wire and the handgrip cover to get it off. Ive made carbon shafts for all my detectors in the past and yours is the first I've see for the teknetics so I knew it wouldn't be easy. Very nice work by the way.

Thanks pal I know I was the only one doing carbon fiber shaft for t2.wires are very easy all of them different colours but it is a bit hard !! I am still very sad for where need it video is I deleted.by the way you can watch my other videos about (how can you make coil cover?)you might interest.
