Lone Star castings are pretty decent. They remind me a bit of the old Husky's. Good job with the rhinestones, that made me laugh too lol. Very nice job Paul. All the best

2 doors, boot and hood open?!?! That's more than my majorette 911 Carrera S. Very nice casting, no misshapen sections or visible impurities. You could use plastics polish and then the Gauzy for an even better windscreen finish... ...in the outro you can see slight sanding marks. No rear window, but you could've made one easily. Doesn't matter, great job.

@@mikeamos5044 If it fit in a Matchbox carrying case it was ok for me . Matchbox had no set size of scale. The motorbikes with side cars were the same size as the buses. I had this wagon in blue Probably got it around 1965 . I think the Impys lacked marketing . I can not remember the price They could have been to expensive...... Note for Englanders . In real life the real Ford Corsair and Zodiac were not sold in the USA new car market.

I love the colour you used, pretty authentic. and the extra detailing. :) btw, you can buy those little diamonds at hobby shops. from the smallest ones you used, to one size larger, to the large ones fitting Corgi and Märklin. saves you trying to pry them out of that cheap jewelry at least. :)

Павел,здравствуйте. А почему Вы все время пользуетесь маркером с самым маленьким стержнем? Большие куски поверхности можно закрашивать и 2 мм ,и 4 мм от Molotov. У него же есть и красные маркеры для задних фар
Awesome job Paul, how do you correct those areas you miss when you paing like the door area,I do a Citroen now with opening doors and I leave them on the body ?
Thank you so much Laz. A couple of times I couldn't leave the door in the car. This resulted in a lot of problems because the shade on the separately painted doors was almost always different than on the bodywork. As a rule, I open the door 10-15 percent, then it does not cover the body parts on the fender and you can easily paint it. I believe that this is the best way. I always check the bodywork area near the door very carefully if everything is nicely painted. Best wishes

Great work again, I love these sixties castings. I need to get a chrome marker...but I saw they are quite expensive (15 Euro)....
Thank you very much. I don't know where the price comes from. I buy a molotow marker for PLN 26, which is about 5 € converted into euro.
Lone Star models are hard to come by in Australia but I do have a couple and the attention to details are good almost as good as your restorations.

You didn't show how you removed the headlight jewels. Did they go flying and became lost ? Just curious. Good looking model.
The jewels were glued very tightly. During removal, the reflectors detached from them, so I had to replace them with new ones.
