WOW.... that song is beautiful and suits sessh so well, the vid matched it perfectly. very very well done. Deffinately 5 STARS! LOVE THIS SONG AND VID! ^_^
Actually SESSHOMAROU stole INUYASHA'S birthright. But this song definitely fits him. I really can't picture his mother singing this....but I absolutely love this video! It's so powerful and the special effects are absolutely breathtaking. This must have taken you a long, long time to do, but it totally fits the first-third season pre-Rin Sesshomarou!
Rumiko gave the copyrights to the people who made Asatte with the actors of the original Japanese audio, which includes Sesshomaru's proposal to Rin. So Rumiko didn't do the CDs but she's totally cool with the idea. During an intervew, someone asked her if Sesshomaru and Rin could be together in the future as a couple, and she said: yes. She also said she had read some fanmade stories about that result, finding some of them: beautiful.
First of, it's the house of edition which sells the copyright or not, the mangaka can just agree or disagree but if the house of edition refuses nothing can be done (99% of the time it's them who suggest who to sell the copyright). Secondly, once the rights sold the people can do whatever they want with it without the mangaka being able to approve or disapprove things (they can always ask but it's up to them in the end)Secondly, which interview ? I already heard about it, but never saw any official trace of it. Just some obscure places which smell made up stories.Thirdly, no matter what, it'd stay sick and pedophilia to me.
Like you said, the house of edition "suggests" but legally the copyrights are Rumiko's. Your opinion deserves respect, of course, but I think you have a narrow point of view. There are some ideas in shintoism which suggest Japanese people are sons and daughters of "the spirits of nature".Frecuently, some of their art work also show "immortal spirits" who passionately love women.About the age, well, the CDdramas show he would wait for her to grow up and let her decide. In my opinion, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Hesperio A Nope, you misread, it's the house of editions that have the final word, if they refuse, the mangaka can't do anything. No matter in how many years, it won't change the fact it's a man knowing a female as a young kid and later on having sex with what he has known as a kid. I call that sick. If those kind of things were banished (promising a young kid to an older man) there's a psychological and moral reason behind it.
Psycology and morality, sometimes I forget how relentless are the guardians of the truth. I understand you, but I think you are overreacting, not about child's abuse, but about Sesshomaru and Rin in the CD drama.
Hesperio A I'm not "overreacting" I'm just saying it's sick. Overreacting would be going on every SessRin supportive videos, fanarts or fanfictions and bash it. I don't care if people ship them, it's not my problem. However, if someone comes here to tell me I should stop considering it twisted, I'll definitly tell my opinion about it. Also, I never overreacted about the CD Drama, I'm just saying what it is. Just because the facts displease you doesn't mean it's overreacting or else I could say the same about you to "overreact" over an interview that probably doesn't exist, mentioning the drama CD (for...what reason I do not get, justification ?), reception of the facts (putting them away as none important), etc. You like it ? Your business. But you better find better arguments to make it look acceptable and impose it on others.
Actually you chosing Kikyo as the one Sesshomaru hates is very accurate, I haven't seen the movies yet, but this anime hit the nail on the head. I bet I can watch everyone amv of this song now and never find a more acurate amv. You did awsome.
When that kind of stuff happened they were sent to live with nobility to learn about noble life, etiquette, calligraphy, etc. and that's not what's happening with Rin at the end.
I already said I made a distinction between child and teenager. So far I remember Inuyasha didn't meet Kagome as a kid, so her grow and then married her, did he ? And what has nude anything to do with this conversation ? XD
I really like this video. Heather is a really good singer and I'm glad she's a celtic singer. That makes me even happier! I wish Sesshy was mine...I'd give him a much needed hug! XD I just hope he wouldn't cut off my head.
He isn't shown as a child in any episode. You can only see him a little younger in the third movie. I think it was in the episode where Naraku kidnapped Rin and Naraku is "teasing" him about it.
@EluluAruru11 At 0:38 there is the movie 1 and also the episode where Rin appears for the first time. For 1:00 I don't remember anymore, but... I think it's those extra episodes with the cats demons.
Even so there is no evidence that RT was going for this. When the characters found out Miroku had proposed to Koharu to bear his child when she got older when she was eleven, they were shocked and revolted and backed away in disgust. That tells you quite a lot about how Takahashi feels about that kind of thing.
If you want to read a really good story about a girl Rin's age falling in love, you should read Memoirs of a Geisha. The plot of the story is about a girl around 9 years old, who meets a young business man (around 20-25ish), and he is kind to her, and she falls in love with him. She dedicates her life to becoming a great Geisha, so that she can meet him and he'll fall in love with her too. Spolier: He DOES meet her at 15 and fall in love back. They end up together in the end, she has his child.
I guess Naraku is also courting Kagura then, since he gave Kagura three kimonos. In a case like rin's where the mother is dead and there is no mother, the father would have to provide the kimono.
a soothing song that "lulls" a child to sleep- because it "lulls" them to sleep, it was called a "lullabye" the only other info i know is that it originated in England
It isn't because there are stories like that that it means it has to happen in every stories. And I see those "love stories" as a sort of Stockolm syndrom, which is just sad. It's not love just mental problem. You see the gifts as a love thing just because you enjoy the idea of them being a pairing. I just see them as they are. Gifts. Sess likes Rin, yup, but that doesn't mean love. As a father, as a brother or just because she needed a new one. Why do you want to see a prove of love in that ?
Men in that era did not just randomly give gifts to girls Rin's age. She is 11 at the end, which was the age when men started courting practices. Her mogi (the ceremony where she announces she's old enough to start entertaining suitors) would happen between 12 and 14. Kimono were traditional courting gifts, and VERY EXPENSIVE. They were NOT casual gifts. There is a Japanese saying, "Men who give gifts of clothing expect to see a woman wear it... and expect to see her when she's NOT wearing it."
In fact, I'm in the middle of a story in which Sesshy's Mom explains to him what happened (their marriage was arranged, they were good friends but realised they were never really in love, they divorced, she was happy when he married Izoyoi, etc) This is a "brothers reconciling" story. But that's what I thought happened, he's supposed to be a noble demon, not Mel Gibson. Cheating isn't noble. But wouldn't Inuyasha be a Lord? Myoga sometimes calls him that. So Sesshy took that title away.
Rin's Japanese profile says,(りん)殺生丸を慕い行動を共にしている人間の少女 which translates to, "Rin is the little girl who is adored by/loved deeply by Sesshoumaru and travels with him. Shitai 慕い is from 慕う which means 'To love deeply, to adore, to yearn for' and is NOT a kanji one would use to describe FAMILIAL love. Just Sayin'.
Shiatui CAN be used platonically, I looked it up in several online dictionaries and found people using it to refer to their families. If they weren't paternal why is she obeying him? YOU DON'T OBEY YOUR LOVER, YOU OBEY YOUR FATHER!
@AeiaSSJ4 lol Well, she died twice but anyway, the Final Act didn't exist back then. XD So to answer your question, I don't remember the number but it's the episode right after Inu learns Kaze No Kizuo and the episode where Koga appears.
Guileless son, I'll shape your belief And you'll always know that your father's a thief And you won't understand the cause of your grief But you'll always follow the voices beneath
You claim that, and yet when I look up shitaui in online dictionaries I found it being used to refer to mothers and countries and cars, it very well can be used in a platonic context. She says in a STRANGE WAY, meaning not exactly alike.
Mordred's lullaby fits so good to sesshomaru
fangirling over sesshomaru right now
WOW.... that song is beautiful and suits sessh so well, the vid matched it perfectly.
very very well done. Deffinately 5 STARS!

Words can't describe how well put together this is! WOW! This fits sesshomaru perfectly! A++
Sesshōmaru is the attractive brother

The song is absolutely beautiful, and the video was amazing! Plus, it's all about Lord Sesshomaru!!! What more could you ask for?! >D
That's kind of the basis for my own story. Can't tell you exactly where cause this place doesn't let you. But that's a big part of it.
@girlstenshi It's never been said, but I for me he sees her as a sort of daughter or a sister. Someone to protect at least. XD
The words were "or whatever she chooses", meaning she's not being forced to live their and is there by choice.
sesshomaru is so handsome! i love his lullaby!
@YakuKikyo still that IS a pretty decent analogy but im still glad it ended up that way....cause we have Inuyasha AND Sesshomaru-sama!
So well put together.
-Lily
He isn't shown as a child in any episode. You can only see him a little younger in the third movie.
I think it was in the episode where Naraku kidnapped Rin and Naraku is "teasing" him about it.
beautiful. absolutely lovely
I'm listening carefully... then I shout out, "The lyrics and the video make total sense! ahahahaha! awesome!!!!!"

Great job! You made it fit so well ^_^
@EluluAruru11
At 0:38 there is the movie 1 and also the episode where Rin appears for the first time.
For 1:00 I don't remember anymore, but... I think it's those extra episodes with the cats demons.
If Inuyasha doesn't have anywhere to go it's because he has been rejected everywhere. It's not especially because of Sesshomaru.
Okay, I seriously just laughed...I was just singing this song when I clicked on this vid! lol Awsome :D
Fits perfectly for Sesshomaru!
Mordreds Lullaby REALLY fits him!
I love this video and this song. And Sesshomaru.
Inuyasha himself said she's living in a human village "to practice for returning her to a human village".
I'm impressed by the special effects! 5/5*
-swoon- Oh my god! Sleeping Sesshy! Sooo cute! I love him! He's just so..I dunno! I love him! The bad boy with a soft side XD
This song fits Sesshomaru very well.
@Opticalpopcorn Well, Sess is from the first movie and the water is from the episode where Sess reveals Tenseiga's power.
Even so there is no evidence that RT was going for this. When the characters found out Miroku had proposed to Koharu to bear his child when she got older when she was eleven, they were shocked and revolted and backed away in disgust. That tells you quite a lot about how Takahashi feels about that kind of thing.
Yeah, well... Love doesn't have a lot to do with age. You can still find a great love... Just not one you've known since you were a child.
I can't stop listening to this
@A85ramos "Mordred's Lullaby" by Heather Dale; a personal favorite.
If you want to read a really good story about a girl Rin's age falling in love, you should read Memoirs of a Geisha. Right, this song really fits Sesshomaru
J love rins and seshomarus relationship^^

Well you can find the lyrics on internet. Mordred's Lullaby by Heather Dale or something like that.
Well, he changes during the whole story. At the end of it even if he wouldn't admit it he sort of have affections for his lil' brother.:p
hey this is the perfect song for him!
I guess Naraku is also courting Kagura then, since he gave Kagura three kimonos. In a case like rin's where the mother is dead and there is no mother, the father would have to provide the kimono.
I downloaded them on various websites. It's so long ago, can't exactly remember which one. Surf on google, you'll surely find them.
mordreds lullaby? NICE I came across this song while watching witchcraft videos LAWL
@ThePokePoku You can easily find lyrics by writing "lyrics title + artist" in your search toolbar.
I like this song and the video was very well done in my opinion.
700/5 i faved it and u matche it perfectly to characters
a soothing song that "lulls" a child to sleep- because it "lulls" them to sleep, it was called a "lullabye" the only other info i know is that it originated in England
this song is so perfect for him its like it was wrtiten for him
@9Nienor And he knows how to add flare to any situtation.
The most unbelievable thing happens at 1:08. He really looks like a very nice guy there :-D
They are inside the Shikin no Tama, you can see them in the first movie.
1:29 LOL inuyasha in french XD awesome vid btw

I first heard it when I was on my bro's computer. Its rlly good!
i love this song and vid. sesshomaru is awesome.

I Love Sesshomaru, he is my Master😊
i love this sesshoumaru x rin argument
it fits perfectly! 5/5
they should make a show called and about sesshomaru
Your wish is kinda granted 4 years later a anime called YashaHime it’s about Sesshomaru’s daters.
Shiatui CAN be used platonically, I looked it up in several online dictionaries and found people using it to refer to their families. If they weren't paternal why is she obeying him? YOU DON'T OBEY YOUR LOVER, YOU OBEY YOUR FATHER!
aaaaaahhhhh it's so creepy.......and dark.....and creepy.....I LOVE IT X)
hey! my name's heather! awesome! the song rocks too!
@AeiaSSJ4 lol Well, she died twice but anyway, the Final Act didn't exist back then. XD So to answer your question, I don't remember the number but it's the episode right after Inu learns Kaze No Kizuo and the episode where Koga appears.
Well you certainly made a great video.
@commanderwaffle
Don't remember the number but it's when Sesshomaru use Tenseiga for the first time, showing Jaken that the sword doesn't cut.
Awesome! i DO love it!
Guileless son,
I'll shape your belief
