Thank you so much for doing this comparison! I keep seeing Lelix pens ads popping up EVERYWHERE in my feed, and I wasn't sure what to think of them. I've been using Flair pens since I was 16 years old in art class (*cough cough 52 years ago!! cough*) I use them to color code notes and used them in pointalism art projects. I'm sticking with Flair, going to order a set now!! Thank you, Mr. Joey! 😘
Has someone been into some Halloween candy? 😂 One of my best childhood Birthday presents was a box of SEVENTY-TWO, yes, 72 Crayola Crayons! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! There were metallics including copper! I think for your counting you should have used your "finger abacus". 😄

Not all heroes wear capes. 🤩 I'm not a teacher, but a Flair pen junkie who has gifted dozens of them to my son's teachers over the years. Amazon keeps presenting their knockoffs and I haven't bit yet.
Dear Mr D, i refuse to ever actually watch a whole product comparison on 90% of things suggested to me. BUT. I actually watched and appreciated the whole thing. You are a frick frackin’ treasure; come back to Des Moines!
Flair pens are EVERYTHING. I won’t grade without them. Purple is my go to and I just tried black for the first time and loved it so much I ordered 2 packs of just black for everyday writing 🤣 although I do find that they dry out if I forget to put the cap on but after I scribble a bit they do better. LOVE YOU BOO 💋💋
I am curious if left handed writers like flair pens as much. The tip of the Paper-mate has a more square tip, whereas some knock offs have a more round tip. I feel like it is harder to push the square-tip pen across the page as opposed to the right handed writers who pull the pen across the page.
I will say one time I put a jacket through the wash with a flair pen in the pocket and you know that flair pen still worked perfectly after being put through that!!!
Flair pens are the best! Been using them since the early 70s (not the same set, obviously). They are the gold standard of markers. Whoever said they bleed through is crazy! Flair were always known for NOT doing that!

Just to be the devil’s advocate - the weight of the paper matters. If your school buys the cheap-assed paper your breath bleeds through! It’s also the reason the copier fixer person is there every stinking day to fix the machine! OMG - summer needs to be 6 months longer. Thanks Joey! You need to bring your act to the Northeast.
I bought a pack of these about mid school year…. I was excited about the colors, but once my favorite colors “disappeared” I noticed that the Amazon color selection is REALLY pink heavy. Like… there’s a LOT of pinks. I’m going back to Flair.
I’m actually kind of curious to try the Amazon ones now 😂😂, especially if they are cheaper. I feel like my flair pens dried out faster than I expected and I’m not sure how I feel about the feeling of the tip while writing…. Like sometimes I like it but other times I don’t 🤷♀️ Either way, thanks for the fun video!

I have ACCIDENTALLY left my flair pen uncapped (don't come for me) over night on my teacher desk. It was still writing as if I had capped it.

I had the Amazon ones and they are A LOT less durable and I feel like it de-sharpens (?) if that makes sense the more you use it. FLAIR FOR THE WIN!!
