If your car already isn’t fast with an interior it’s not going to be much faster without one bro😂I’d suggest maybe a ported intake plenum along with a ported lower intake manifold, Injectors, 3” longtube intakes along with longtube headers and rather an ISR or tomei single exit exhaust and of course to top it off get a good tune and then you might be fast lol
Oh yea and Megan resonated test pipes or AAM non resonated test pipes or fast intentions non res test pipes are good too along with an aftermarket Y pipe Megan makes a good one that’s what I have and ISR makes a gold one but it’s 2.75” not 2.5” and bulaga racing makes a good y pipe as well along with HBP makes custom y pipes check him out as well.
@@VQKYLE410 Weight reduction is the only free way to make a car go faster. A 3300 lb car with the same power as a 3700 lb car will always be faster, unless it has a shit driver.
Its not just the power to weight ratio but the VQ35HR in the 350Z has a much higher ignition timing as well which is 18 BTDC with the 2 degree advance where as the VQ37VHR is at 10 BTDC timing with no advance. The timing makes a big difference in how the power is made. The VQ37VHR is more of an economical engine than performance seeing this is the first VQ engine that has such a low timing from factory. This also adds to why the VQ35HR is much more free flowing and smoother engine overall than the VQ37VHR as people complained that the engine was not smooth as its contemporary from factory and that's mainly due to the ignition timing being so low thus the pistons moving slower than the VQ35HR. All performance engine have had a high ignition timing such as the VR38DETT 27 BTDC, RB25DET 15 BTDC and the VQ35HR 16 BTDC.
That’s under ideal conditions though as the ECU can pull or advance timing depending on a host of parameters. Also the “speed” of the pistons is dictated by the current rpm of the engine, not the timing. Timing simply controls when the spark occurs in relation to TDC, no?

@@zahirhuda06 Stock for Stock an Hr is faster than a G37 lmao….. Hr’s only dyno about 10-15whp less than the Vhr’s and G37’s weigh about 400-500 pounds more, its all about Power to weight ratio. That extra 15whp you guys have isnt gonna make up for the 500 pound weight disadvantage you have 🤣 ive pulled on Multiple G37’s already 🤷🏽♂️ and my homie hear can shift better than me lmao hes the one that taught me how to drive my first manual car lol
During this time his shifting was better than me lol i was still learning to drive a manual 😂 but he had Test Pipes and Custom 3” Full exhaust (Y-Pipe and Catback Exhaust) his car is loud as hell
@@DaytonaBlueHr did the g have a passenger? I have no problems with 350s in my g. I’ve raced 2 hrs and one de but it didn’t matter I pulled on both. I had a passenger when I raced on of hrs and still took the dub so idk it just doesn’t add up😭
@@plasmidify7715 we both had no passenger but my Hr is Stock with weight reduction, he was full weight with Bolt-ons but Stock for Stock ive always seen Hr’s pull on G37’s but we all have different experiences haha
@@DaytonaBlueHr I’ve had my 08 G37S coupe for almost 8 years (auto and always completely stock other than a muffler delete) and with the many HR’s I’ve raced over the years, they’re frankly dead even from my experience. I could be wrong, but I think I might have a very slight edge over some G’s since my year is the only 5-speed auto. Such great cars!
@@GraylanSakaris Yeah it honestly depends on how healthy the motor haha lots of Hr’s are abused and drifted but my Hr i bought from an old guy that was the original owner since 2007 and he never once raced or drifted the car 😂 had about 70,000 miles on it as well. Ive pulled on other Bolt-on Hr’s and they are always surprised im pulling like that while Stock still just weight reduction 😂
@@DaytonaBlueHr Yea I got the automatic with the paddles. I have the '09 convertible she only got 70ish k miles. when the tops down gives her some weight in the back so you can really feel it in the turns.
Forgot to mention i only had my hatch lightly gutted during this time and had my passenger seat in still, i weigh quite a bit less currently

the G wasn't in sport mode, I have one, and the revs range goes way higher, that driver must be new.
Its a 6spd manual so theirs no “Sport mode” and we both rev to 7500, at this time my Friend here was faster at shifting than me
