But in Maneka Gandhi case supreme court talked about due process...isn't it? But then why only procedure established by law in judicial review

In Meneka Gandhi case
Court take wider interpretation of Article 21 because in Goplan case court interpretation in narrow sense
Court state's that Ar 21 can be deprived by due process of law .
If such law is reasonable, fair and just.
You can refer laxmikant 6th edition page no 7.12

1) waman rao case 1981
2) coelho case 2007

It is after Keshvananda Bharti case that Supreme Court can now also review any law entered in the 9th Schedule ....especially after 24 April 1973.....otherwise the Constituion itself has number of provisions that have conferred power of Judicial review on SC and HC both

@@apurvah6180 yes ma'am, i agreed on your point that constitution has many provision in support of Judicial review.
But by the 1st amendment act, acts and regulations entered in 9th schedule is out of the ambit of judicial scrutiny
Though basic structure of constitution established by supreme court in 24 April 1973, but the judicial review is not considered as basic structure on the same day
So my question is from which case SC said that the acts entered in 9th schedule after 24 april shall be open for judicial review?

sir i have a doubt that if the SC of india is only authorized to check the lawmaking area of the lawmaking body not the reasonability of that particular law . Then how can the SC of india declare the NJAC Act, 2014 null and void when it, i think is the power of parliament to make such laws,,,,,,,,,and if the sc of india is not authorized to check the reasonability of any legislation than how can it declare any law made by parliament null and void which is included in the center list
