    This looks so cool! I would totally add in a teeny tiny boat and just let it float around in there every now and then when I'm bored, I love tiny landscapes and mini gardens like this!

      This reminds me of the small paper boats we made during the rainy season and had a competition btw siblings to see who's boat would travel farthest in the rain water across the street.............. such a nostalgic memories ❤

      Yeah, that would be cool. I have thought about ideas like this for years, to try and create miniature gardens. But I am mostly too busy to get going on some of my ideas.

      Its called terarium. And for this one it is called open terrarium. Its soo damn easy to build and maybe not so easy to perfect it visually. But you still need the knowledge of basic vegetation to make terrarium. Saying his hand is magic kinda like removing his whole life dedication and practise that he puts into his passion. Its not magic its practise.

    Funny enough, this might be one my most favorite projects you've shown on your channel, despite how relatively simple in construction it is. This encapsulates what a garden at scale would look like in every way; it looks like you've shrunk down a segment of a river or brook! I love it.

      @@omz31 I feel like in some clips it looks like there's a thin layer of plastic or something like that on the inside of the box, but I could be wrong.

      The corners/joins are siliconed , and the wood appears to have a generous layer of wax applied.

      @@marjorielabrioche1440 The wax (or varnish) would last a very long time - as long as its not scratched by anything. However, if I were you, I'd use clear resin (one thats safe for aquatic plants/fish).

    I read the title wrong and I thought this was a SNAIL garden and i got upset because of the lack of snails lmao

    asu my guy, king of little plant scenes. I request this as respectfully as possible if you could balance the volumes a bit more in your videos so that the rock shoveling and mist spraying noises don't drown out your pleasant background music that would be very nice!
    If you don't that is fine too!! thanks for sharing another pleasant creation with us. I especially liked watching the little patches of grass perk up after having some nice soil in this one.

    so beautiful and calming :) but i am curious because you did some things a little bit differently this time. usually you put black plastic inside the wooden box but this time you didn't use any plastic. also you added something to the soil? it looks like silicone but what does that do?

      normally the purpose of the black plastic is to prevent the glass from being scratched I believe, which wouldn’t be an issue with wood. As far as adding the silicone sealant to the dirt it allowed it to hold its form better and become more like clay

      @@lucasrios2089 ahh okay! Normally it looks like he uses sheets of black plastic and silicone to hold all the water while the wood exterior is just decorative. I thought that the wood is porous so filling it with water wouldn't work for long?

      you can see at the start that the box is sealed so it won’t leak but it’s probably covered with a waterproof varnish or something

    What material is it you are using for the river course? Is it waterproof? I would love to make a rivulet with normal plants around, but I had to make shure that water doesn't wet earth too much.

    Since he added the plants and moss, obviously some soil was needed, but how does he keep the flowing water from washing that into and clogging the pump? Whatever, it’s a lovely creation.

    いつも気になるのが、メンテナンス性、どれくらい綺麗な状態を維持できるかです。
