Indeed! 😂😂😂😂😂 Truth be told, I’m kinda mixed on Chandler’s sarcasm. Sometimes, it’s hilarious, harmless humour. Other times, it’s rude, snarky insults! Tho, thankfully in this case, the former definitely takes the cake! 🍰
It’s truly amazing that the producers lucked into mondler. Seriously, they were never suppose to end up together. But they are so perfect it’s insane. Easily the best relationship on the show and the driving force for the second half of the series.
Well I heard that apparently if it wasn’t for Chandler and Monica staying together, the show would have ended at around series 6 as they would have run out of ideas
They originally planned for Joey and Monica to the main couple and while that would have been interesting Chandler and Monica are just perfect together
In the first few seasons she also had that kind of "dominating" character but she was still sweet and caring. I agree with what other people say, they made her kind of dirty in the latest seasons.
I enjoy Monica and Chandlers relationship because of things like this. I look at them in seasons 5 and 6 compared to later seasons and it just shows how their relationship has evolved. Monica softened a bit in her time with Chandler; became more willing to compromise and less competitive (with him). Chandler progressively feared commitment less and less as they moved in and got married and had children. Their evolution as a couple is a highlight of the show.
I have to agree with Chandler. Everyone that THEY both know live somewhere near them. If your going to make a guest, I would have make it sort of like storage. And yeah Monica’s place makes me think of grandma place…
For all those who think Ross really wanted them to move in and was helping them out....NOPE. He was there to get them together, so that Rachel would move in with him. xD
That's what makes this relationship special. They don't try to fix each other's flaws or were so preachers like Ross and Rachel. They're two imperfect people that somehow manage to get along (mostly😜)
I'm bossy, my husband's like Chandler. He loves me for the paranoid + control freak that i am. And I have learnt to respect where it's ok to boss him and where it isn't ok to boss him. We have this unwritten rule where we both know there are subjects that i can totally boss him about and he is happy to give up control and then there are subjects where i wudnt dare boss him or force him for something. I know where to stop pushing him but he also knows that as bossy as i am, i wud never make him do something he isn't comfortable doing. Being bossy is not equal to domineering. For me being bossy is me and him both knowing that in which areas-finance, cooking, driving- i can make a better decision about something than him and letting me have the upper hand. So no bossy doesn't mean a bad relationship. Domineering means a bad one and there's a difference. PS we are together for more than 7 years and cudnt be happier.
