Yes it explains that the monster kills bad people, and the monster is staying near the protagonist... as if he is its next target always eating him if he did soemthing unpleasant.
I showed this video to the monster under my bed and it stopped taking my bones, it now only steals bones from my enemies. me, the monster and our 124 skeletons are now living peacefully as a happy family

Much more comedic than I was expecting, but that's in the game's favor. Nothing topped Manly's reaction to the true ending though, that made me laugh pretty hard.
Manly hiding his insatiable need to romance monsters and Eldredge abominations perfectly, aside from his youtube titles, the only thing giving it away.

I wonder what MC's dark past is about though. And the people the monster ate to 'protect' him. If he had any involvement with his parents deaths. It might not matter much in the end since the game never really goes into it but I can't help be curious.
Edit: Now that I think about it, it was rather strange that around 16:52 that the MC states how things back then were simple and comforting when he was eight and seems depressed it isn't like this anymore.
Not only did it show some humanity, it made me question if he truly had anything to do with his parents deaths. Maybe he still did but the way he seemed to long for these days again makes me want to know his backstory even more. Maybe the developer will make a sequel/prequel?

This creature reminds me of my uncle Maynard. The man had one tooth in his mouth, but he could wolf down food, especially burgers, faster than anyone.
I have to say most of my childhood was spent seeing shadows seemingly move though most of the time it was benign worm like things. I used to not really be afraid of it until I got scared so bad by something like this creature i end up having a near panic attack every time it enters my thoughts. Though that night i ended up curled up on my toilet seat lights on trying my best not to scream. It took me about an hour that night to be able to calm down enough to run to my bed. Normally my dad seems to have hawk like hearing when it comes to finding reasons to find trouble to make for me and I probably still would've felt better had he woken up to yell at me.
I wonder what that was. A weird thing that happens to me rarely when I get super tired is that some shadows will have a slight lighter shade of black strobe flashing if that makes sense.
