Resident evil always finds a way to tell stories about other characters that didn't give much characterization or new ones that take place before the games story. It's nice to see the perspectives and narratives of other people during the current conflict of the series and see how they either escaped or died.
I think that's one of the scarier parts of resident evil especially during the outbreak. Being an emergency responder, and hearing over the radio of officers calling for additional back-up, ems dealing with undead patients, firefighters trying to fight blazes. Then as the outbreak continues on, slowly the radio chatter stops, eventually no-one on responding. As you desperately, try to reach anyone at all that might still be alive.
Heck, just to see this chaos unfold as a regular citizen is scary. Watching the news and trying to figure out what is happening. Then seeing as the news channels are dead on the air just replaced with the emergency alert channel. Slowly, as what seemed to be a normal day in Racoon city is no more.
Great short story. I love that you are making RE comics as that has been my dream ever since the first resident evil blew my mind back in 96. I was only nine but I was addicted to RE and drew everyday about it, made little comics of it and everything. As I'm older now, I have started slowly picking up old hobbies and have found joy in them..The next hobby I pick up again will involve drawing and/or comics..We have a different art style but I must admit that your story telling and dialogue is fascinating. Simple but smart, the way it's supposed to be...Keep up the great work. I wish I could help..

You used enemies that didn't made it in the game. Jeez, parasitic spiders would the worst enemy to see. Imagine seeing the cop again but bulkier and with the spider to his back controlling him, this thing gave me the creeps

I still wouldn't mind seeing a side story about Wesker causing the outbreaks in Survivor and Dead Aim to cover his tracks trying to find information about the real location of Rockfort Island before going there.
Interesting story
Had Resident Evil focus more on showing the raw actuality of being in a horrific situation like the one you made and less about one liners accompanied with cool scenes, the strenght of horror element would not just strike pure fear into the hearts of the audience.

Aren't those the guy that committed suicide and the one that got eaten by earwigs in Hard Mode? In regards to your Dragonball comic you could just ignore the crappy parts of the Dragonball lore and focus more on the mercenary narrative.
I thought about that but..can it still work? If I ignore all the nonsensical retcons, universes, characters, those impossible power levels that are already introduced; then I'd be ignoring like 75% of what's been established. I think at that point that's just too much crap to ignore 😅
