oh there it is, the game that opened the floodgates to all the baseball games on famicom! didn't realize it started with this one. seen it advertised in the US but not one I ever really sought out.
the only sports games in my collection are Bowling and Boxing on Atari 2600. As they are the Alpha and Omega of video game sports fun, no further sports titles are required
I think the "Kansai Railway" team is mostly the Hankyu Braves, who don't exist anymore. Also, Nintendo's Baseball's teams *were* somewhat based on real teams: the teams of the Central League of the Nippon Professional Baseball league. Just in, uniform color and team name initial, that is.
The other RBI Baseball games were developed by Tengen rather than Namco which probably didn't help. Though Famista definitely has some ups and mainly downs.
