This is testimony to their greatness. Give everything they got on a little crummy innocence pop show for kids, still played their hearts out. Clever guys its TV exposure. That's why they become the biggest band in the world
It would have to be circa 1982. A Celebration was released in March 1982 and Gloria and Rejoice were from their second album October released 1981. Watching this reminded me how good A Celebration was. Kind of a sign of what was coming in their WAR album 1983.
Saw them live in 79 or 80 by a accident. Some of their early stuff was OK. Ten came the terrible album The Joshua Tree and I lost interest. I'm glad I saw them for the cost of a beer back then , on the same night was The Comsat Angels from Sheffield who were ok also. ;~) in Hampshire England
..it's got a good beat....lots of good energy....that front guy can sing on key.......and oh, yeah, it's a prayer to God.....
look at them, so so young and they play like they've been playing for years !...😍😍😍edge and Bonos voices blend beautifully together 😍😍😍
