Love the Morimoto XB on my 2013 F150. Wouldn't switch them for anything else!

Don’t buy the AlphaRex tails. I’m on my 3rd set from warranty.

Same, mine took a shit 1 year after ownership started flickering like crazy and then just not flashing at all. Had my supplier send me a 2nd and 3rd set and the brand new sets didnt work either. Both times were r/s tail lights completely inop. I ended up sending them all back because my older ones actually worked better. I even thought it mightve been a wiring issue with my truck so I wired the l/s in to r/s just to test and l/s worked fine. Moral of the story, they are manufatured in Taiwan and complete garbage. Ordered up the morimotos since I already got the headlights, they just didnt have the tails in morimotos yet for the 12th gen F150s so I was forced to buy alphas.

Ive had two sets of alpharex taillights, first set lasted 3 weeks. Second set lasted less than a week before they stopped working. Just ordered the morimoto. Love the look of the alpharex but they got some bugs to figure out

Literally in the same boat I’ve gone through two sets of Alpha Rex taillights because I like the way they look but the only lasted 2 years between the two sets and I’ve had to rewire them so many damn times to get them to work again

I have the same generation Raptor with the same color. I've had the Alpha Rex in the Raptor for a couple of years and liked them. I've always wanted the light pipe that illuminates the tail light profile and the Morimoto does that. So now I have the Morimoto with the back up booster.
I like the Morimoto better. The quality is better and I love the LED piping. The only thing is that the Morimotos stick out and are not a flush mount tail lite. I don't like that feature but it's not too bad and all of the other features about the light outweigh that to me.
I also like the style of the Alpha Rex. One of the things I like about that style is it's flush mounted. It does not stick out like the Morimoto. You can see the difference in the latter part of the video where both types of tail lights are installed. Both lights are good quality lights but I agree with the video. The Morimoto quality is better. I have not had any issues with the Alpha Rex lights though. My resistors on the Alpha Rex was different than the ones in the video. I purchased those two years ago (2021).
I also have Morimoto XB headlights, side marker lights (Raptor), Grill Lights (Raptor), mirror Turn signal sequential lights (on the front and back of the mirror), and puddle lights. This is all for my 2013 Raptor.

I had both, Morimoto is the way if you want tail lights that last.

Just put in some alpharex tails and the driver side tail light brake light stopped working in less than a week 😢 manufacturing says it’s because I added a tailgate light bar which makes zero sense! I’m considering returning them.

Definitely return them and get your money back. The next set will fail also. They have manufacturing issues to figure out

While I like the look of both of them, the alpharex seem to not last & the Morimoto stick out too much for my liking. The tail lights are the only thing still stock on my truck

I put a set of Alpha Rex on my daughter Gen 1 Raptor and burned through 2 sets in like 2 months....Junk!

NONE of the aftermarket headlight or tail light housings look good. The Factory OEM always looks the best.

FX4/Raptor lights with LEDs. Light smoke tint. Paint the white edges black.
