Boa comparação, VCD! O rack deu outra vida ao Golden Axe, principalmente em desvincular o personagem do tipo de magia (qualquer "boneco" pode selecionar a magia que quiser) e pelos efeitos sonoros. Os gritos de morte dos inimigos são idênticos ao do flipperama (e, consequentemente, do Conan), uma mudança muito maneira ao clássico.
A única crítica que eu poderia tecer em seu vídeo é o fato do lado direito dos falantes está bem baixo. Muita gente acessa seu conteúdo por celular e essa "feature" das vozes do game modificado acaba passando batido. Como as músicas permanecem as mesmas, é bem difícil notar a mudança nos efeitos sonoros.

The extra samples are great... but they do interrupt the playback somewhat due to the limitations of the sound driver.
What I still miss the most are Alex who gets KIA, Death Adder's appearing scene where snakes form his body & of course his cruel death..these are the things I've missed the most and none of these iconic scenes made it into this hack...
Agreed. I wanted to see more... like the shadows underneath the characters and the jumping animations for the dragons and the moving eyes and feathers from the turtle n eagle.... I am sure they could have added them in
This is the way I should have looked from the beginning. And I see they brought in the David Caruso" Oh God" effects from the arcade. Which is a sound bite taken from Rambo first blood. It's in the forest scene.
I wonder if David Caruso is aware of this?

Este juego se merece un remake como el que aMaru está haciendo con el ghouls n ghosts. Ojalá le meta mano algún día.
31:42-32:15 In the Hack version the big guy enemies are named after beer. We have the Bud Brothers and Lt. Heineken. Sgt Malt and Sgt. Hop and Col. Heineken. Gen. Heartland which is a Japanese Beer and Gen. Heineken.
hack looks good...doesn't look as dark as the original...although I do like how the animals look in the OG more...the darker looks fit better.
Acho incrível esse modelo do Genesis Slim com o controle de 6 botões,eu joguei essa hack,deu outra vida para Golden Axe do Genesis,vários detalhes foram adicionados diferente das outras hacks que apenas mudava a paleta de cores,infelizmente o Genesis teve seu potencial aproveitado poucas vezes.

The MK and Street Fighter hacks made a bit more sense. Super Street Fighter seems to be missing some serious colors in the original.
Also would love to see a clever programmer fix the frame rate for awesome possum. That game might actually be ok if it wasn’t so choppy
The goal was to have the colors more faithful to the arcade.
The hacks adjust the color to make them more faithful looking to the arcades. They don't actually have more color.
They didn't hack in the blood from Death Adder's defeat? Im kind of surprised, a lot was fixed with the hack but the blood wasn't added.
They're still working on this hack, so you never know, they may add that in at some point.
I mean, if you think about it, they’re trying to make it compatible on consoles as well since people enjoy getting hacked copies on the Genesis consoles for a true experience of trying something new and different from the original. Not to mention I myself own a hacked copy of Streets of Rage 2 where the characters are replaced with Sailor Moon characters. So, we’re gonna have to wait and see if a simple blood animation could fit in on such limited hardware.

A cena indie/ROM-hacking de MD está sem limites. Sugestão para um próximo vídeo: Real Bout Fatal Fury Special - Neo Geo vs. Mega Drive (versão RheoGamer)
Não faz muito sentido, pois o jogo ainda está bem incompleto na versão do Mega Drive embora esteja ficando top.

@@andore_btt Me refiro ao Real Bout do Mega Drive que embora esteja ficando top ainda se encontra bem incompleto, fora que nenhum hack conseguiu quebrar a barreira dos 4mb e a hack segundo o Rheo a ROM já está praticamente no limite dos 4mb.
@@julhao244 na verdade a versão lite está em fase final de desenvolvimento, e ela vai sair provavelmente no natal, por isso eu sugeri que fosse uma comparação FUTURA.
Quanto aos 4MB, a equipe planeja lançar duas versões para que todo mundo possa jogar, uma lite (a de 4MB), e uma completa, com prováveis 16MB, que é o limite alcançado pelo Mega Drive em jogos como Demons of Asterborg, utilizando mappers de ROM.

The sprite´s color is better in hack version and other things like sound are the same. Cool work.
Be kool if they added 1 more extra Character to this Gen/MD hack.. know it being more faithful to the Arcade but it would spice up the original game ...

Deu uma melhorada legal nas cores, que ficaram mais fiéis ao original arcade. Só não entendi o porquê da mudança das cores da roupa da Tyris.

not quite dramatic as the hack of Golden Axe for the Master System.
Só as cores verde de Tyris e azul de gilius que estranhei. Nas apresentações, antes do jogo, as cores estavam parecidas ,mas com tonalidades diferente, já tinha gostado, porém, na gameplay com Tyris de verde ,não me adaptei e na cena de crédido aparece o gilius de azul, talvez pela memória já concebida dessas corea. Não sei se no menu dá pra escolher as cores das vestimentas ,pois na apresentação foi uma e no jogo foi outra.Mas no geral é uma excelente hack rom👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Sim, é possível escolher as cores das roupas dos personagens no menu, apertando start a Tyris fica com a roupa verde, apertando oos outros botões o vermelho clássico permanece

Sempre me diverti com esse jogo, mas sempre achei ele simples demais, com estilo bem pobre de arte, sei lá, sem muito acabamento, o que passa aquela sensação que ele foi feito as pressas, mas enfim, no quesito diversão esse jogo é maravilhoso.
Tá legal a hack mais eu prefiro o original, eh mais escuro que tá mais leal a era medieval como imagino que seria. Top mesmo ficou parabéns

Amo o jogo. É um bom clássico. O Slow Sound do Mega atrapalha um pouco. Toda vez que tem uma voz, a música para. Igual no Rock N Roll Racing

I mostly prefer the darker backgrounds of the old version.
All they needed to do is take the Conan scream from the sega port in high quality and stop it from pausing the music. But I love the OG sega port because of this stupid glitch.

Graphics
Sega genesis more colorful than Hack , the Hack Graphics color almost like Arcade version there is a beautiful design background just like Arcade is look fantastic + some of the stage look same the biggest difference is color and textures , all the map locations pretty much look same, I think the Hack Sega Genesis little bit look better they are almost Arcade perfect ports
I just dislike how muted and washed out the colors in the hack version looks. Everything else is top notch! XD
nice to change Tyris' bikini with a better one. I don't know who designed her clothing but I'm sure there were no bikinis in medieval!
It's a fantasy world. There weren't any dragons or magical powers in medieval times either. I prefer her original look.

Cambió el color de la paleta del juego y es más parecido al arcade (punto para el hack)
Cambió el color de la ropa de tyris flare, de rojo a verde, pésima desición (punto para el original)

Awesome hack. They added all sorts of useless crap, but nobody ever returned the golden axe. And nobody fixed the axe that kills the final boss.

@@videogamemusicrenditionsby7625 No leiste o que? El chaval de arriba dice que es mejor el Hack de sega 32x que si existe, pero en las notas del parche dice que se traba en el hardware original. Solo funciona en emulador. Ahora es hack de este post si funciona bien en megadrive.

O hack pra 32X tá com os sprites com as cores vivas demais em relação ao background. O do Mega tá mais equilibrado.
