Hi Ryan Enjoyed this video. So much so I bought a house in Port Lincoln as an investment. Spent many school holidays over there at my auntie's farm. You also visited Coffin Bay right by my other sister's house on the Oyster Walk. I've continued watching your videos. Watched the restaurant review (Goodwood Rd.) & immediately thought...I know that place as it's around the corner from my sister's. Keep up the good work.👍
Excellent first travel video mate! I think it’s great you have chosen to go out and explore South Australia and put back into the local economy! Also, as someone who has never been to this region it’s great to see Port Lincoln and the surrounding towns. Quite informative as well! Keep up the travel videos! Thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Enjoyed all the videos from your Port Lincoln trip. Was due to go there in May, but flights were cancelled due to Covid. Hope I can get there next year now. The beaches south of Coffin Bay are well worth seeing. White sands and clear seas. This video will be useful for its eating tips for the trip. I was in Coffin Bay some years back and the only place that we could find to eat was the pub. Not near the water and had little going for it other than being open. Can't remember if we ate oysters there or not. Luckily you can get plenty of Coffin Bay oysters in Port Lincoln.
Thanks for stopping by... Flight cancellations seem very common for PLO. I was originally booked on QF which got cancelled. That's how I ended up on Rex. In October, QF cancelled my flights again but I'm determined to get on it so I've decided on another flight a day earlier. So look out for that video, which will likely be a QF/ZL comparison.
City status was granted to Port Lincoln on January 21, 1971 and the proclamation was read at the opening of the tenth annual Tunarama Festival on the Australia Day weekend. So i guess its been a city now for half a century.
Here is take 2 of a other trip to Port Lincoln a few months later...
