I do love the style and looks of this watch. I just purchased the Timex Viscount with the Blue dial, and speaking of QC, I noticed that the second hand was jumping around a bit when I first got the watch wound up, but it eventually settled down and started ticking smoothly, and surprisingly enough it is running at +9 seconds a day with a solid amplitude and almost no beat error.
That's not bad now that it settled. I'm eyeing the same watch but slightly leaning towards the green. The blue looks great though too!
The real question is: Will a visually impaired person think I'm wearing a Daytona from across the room? 😅
Wearing mine now. Looks more like an Omega Speedmaster than a Rolex Daytona in person.

TIMEX has made some really bad watches lately but with this one it looks like i will finally add a TIMEX to my collection!
Love the retro design of this one & a panda dial is always going to be a winner with me, shame about the QC.
My real concern though with Timex in general is the prices seem too high especially on any new releases.

I just got the waterbury chronograph that looks similar because they were sold out of the Q and just spent all weekend thinking I broke it because I thought 2 dials moved with the chrono but it'd just an hour n at 9 is seconds. Put a metal bracelet on and just love it.
I am legit confused between these two. Similar price, similar design, and I guess same specifications as well.
Timex are pretty good with their discounts. I purchased directly from them a couple of years ago and they are always sending me discounts.

the case,bezel insert,inverse panda, subspheres at 3-6-9 position...can you see?

I JUST reviewed a solar Timex that I really liked because it didn't have any QC issues. Funnily the title of the review was "A Timex that doesn't suck"...lol. Great macro shots by the way!

I have the one with the steel bracelet, if I decide to switch it up to a band like this one. Is there a band option that's close to this one by timex?
I've been trying to find one that has that step out at the lugs to match the case but no luck so far.

Several other reviewers also mention that lackluster pushers, too bad, looks good. However the pusher and the low quality control, stop me from buying online. No good watch stores near where I live.
Definitely nice to be able to see it in person before buying.

Why is the 'second' hand not moving?
It moves when you start the chronograph.

Mine just arrived. Overall, I won't lie ... I am a bit dissapointed. I am a big guy ... 6'3 and 220 lbs. and this is much smaller than I expected. Especially the thin band ... maybe I am not used to vintage watches, but this seems around the size of my grandfather's watch from the 1950's. Another dissapointment is that in all the pictures, the case surrounding the dark face looks bright silver. In person, the case looks more like gunmetal grey. Finally, it looks okay but this feels like it should be maybe $99 tops. You are paying for the style. Timex has been ripping off Rolex Daytona, Seiko diving watches, etc. and marketing them as 'vintage'. You'd be better off with a dupe. $200 for a non-automatic watch with a buckle band is lame. I'd much rather buy an Alpha Newman chronograph, if they were still available. Smaller guys might like these watches.
So you make a video to let us know how you opened a watch and used your dust brush to take off a tiny dirt and you call it a review?
