Thanks for this! Just used it as a guide to replace my struts on my 2008 FJ. Having the torque specs mentioned was especially helpful.

Very nice video clear details i am working on my Nissan pathfinder and your videos are very helpful thanks man
+Shawn Flavien Thanks for the feedback!
Using a small wire brush on the threads and some PB Blaster makes things go alot easier.
How much does shipping cost to Mexico, to the city of Querétaro. Thank you
Hi, are you still available for questions about lifts?
Excellent teacher
Thanks for a great vid
Boy you really wacked that control arm huh?
I need these and control arm bushings.
Thank you bro
Hello ! I'm replacing the strut on my 2012 fj cruiser which has 11 spirals. The new strut has 7 does it matter will be a problem? Thanks.
So I actually just saw another video with an easier way to do this. Just unbolt the lower control arm at the bottom of the spindle, pivot it down and out of the way, and you can just pull the strut straight out the bottom. No messing with the sway bar or upper ball joint.
+Trail Runnah We appreciate the feedback. Sometimes there are multiple ways to accomplish the same repair.
@@1AAuto that's definitely true! Had I not seen that other video, I would have thought to do it the same way as you guys did here. Incidentally, there's another video of yours that I watched, a repair on a Volvo, and your method was the simplest that I had seen for that. Keep up the good work!
Got a link to this video?
So how much would it cost if I paid you to do?
I am interested in the complete 8-piece kit with part number 1ASFK05261, thank you.
Do you recommend an alignment if you do new struts? Or it struts and springs?
+randomkai We would recommend doing an alignment.
What you forgot to mention and is pretty big. Is in order to move the sway bar like you do to actually get the strut out you need to have the other side completely off at the same time or you can move the sway arm up vertically to actually get the shock out.🙄

You just destroyed the bottom shock bushes by tightening with car off the ground. They, as well as all the rest of the bushing MUST be tightened in the neutral position with vehicle on the ground, not suspended at full droop.
👍👍👍👍👍!!
Ugly black cherry. Just like mine..the only thing I hate about my fj
