This is Justin, singer of Tallah. Thanks so much for the reaction!! Your facial expressions totally made me smile, and we as a band appreciate all the nice compliments. It was an honor to feature on your channel and get some exposure. You guys kick butts! As a fellow RUclipsr, I know how you feel when you say you forgot to hit the record button when you reacted to Red Light. That moment when you go to watch it back, and it is not there... man, yy heart drops every time, and my day is ruined :P Anyway, thanks again! We look forward to seeing what else is on your channel! Loved your overall vibe!
Tallah this was such a fun reaction to film and a super good introduction to you guys. Checked out some more of your stuff since this video and it’s all been great, keep up the amazing work! Hope you guys make it out to Toronto for a show when things go back to normal, we’ll definitely be there if/when you do!
Oh man it totally ruined my day haha. Thanks for watching though man! Also your vids are now getting recommended to me through YT recommendations and damn I'm loving it. Your vocal takes are so entertaining. I'm pumped for the new album and your future!
N Siev nah but they did also release a music video too....what do you think that type of video should be called? “ oh yeah and hey record the singers vocals for red light!?”
His cover of ‘Bring me back to life’ by Evanescence is crazy. When he switches between the male and female vocals within seconds seamlessly I lost my mind
Not only is Max Mike's son, but he's only 16! Been waiting for the reactions to this song, I've only watched the video like 30 times since it was released. Check out Justin's RUclips page, Hungry Lights, too.
Fun fact I'll give y'all for free, since you mention his range several times, it's possibly even more impressive than you think. Justin has a six octave vocal range as of this year.
I've been following Justin's RUclips channel for a while now, and he is just absolutely phenomenal. He's so weird and quirky and it DEFINITELY shows through his music. I haven't checked out this song yet, but I was completely blown away. This is going to be on repeat for aaa whiilleee
So cool to watch a band gain popularity this quick! It's great to see big reaction channels like you react to Tallah, I've been following them since early 2019 and their new album is my most anticipated album of this year and probably ever!
Finally got tallah on the channel!! I think I was requesting placenta like daily for a while last year lol. They're so unique and interesting. Definitely look forward to more from them.
There it is! I knew you'd be into these guys, they're definitely my most anticipated album drop this year. They've released 5 songs from this album and each one is so different yet still very much their own sound that they are establishing. The vocalist is a beast, like you guys were saying his range is just insane, but with a band as powerful and in your face as they are, Justin not only makes his presence known, you feel that shit. Anyway, another great reaction, you and Metalbro are fun to watch and I appreciate the differences in musical taste you guys have. Hope to see Metalbabe back at it at some point though, I feel like she would have dug this one too.
That was groovy, thought you guys were gonna start a two person mosh pit! 😆 You should check out I, Valiance! They are top of the line progressive deathcore, found them yesterday and cannot stop listening!
I was showing them to my wife one day and the only way I could think to describe them was, "Imagine Linkin Park and Korn had a baby, and then that baby met and had a baby with Strapping Young Lad."
At last these guys get some recognition!! I've been saying this over and over, they're about to make it big, they give metal a fresh breath musically, and their live shows look like an absolute pleasure to be in!
Dir En Grey is one of Justin’s influences. I knew when I heard this the first time that he sounded like Kyo sometimes. He pulls influence from everywhere to get his vocals and mashes it all in at some point.
I’ve been meaning to listen to this band since Max Portnoy, the drummer, is the son of Mike Portnoy. The lead singers style and voice reminds me of Jared Gomes from Hed PE. Good shit!!!! Great Reaction!!!
Justin has a couple cool solo projects called Hungry Lights, Hungry Pootoos, and one under his own name. Hungry Lights is a concept band, where every album follows a different aspect of the same storyline, Hungry Pootoos is a joke band, and his self-titled solo project is interesting folky, singer-songwriter stuff.
Hungry Potoos is just a comedy channel he runs. His solo projects are as follows... Hungry Lights (metal/misc) Prilly T (rap) Call It Ego (alt metal) From the Looks of Things (acoustic/folk) Beautiful Worthless Beings (theatrical/epic) I think there are others... the only joke projects he has are Snail Fetus Kidney Sacrifice and Otto Rocket something something lol. Definitely really good stuff tho
Joshua Martineau which is all still just him. The first thing he has really done with people is Tallah because it is the first band that really allowed him to be as strange, vocally, as he is.
satchit ananda 100% and that’s the track that I was talking about when I said InVisions did a cover of Slipknot. You should definitely check that out if you haven’t heard it.
I'm still figuring out what I think about these guys, their first single I thought was great then came the next track and the next hmm.. This very slipknot yeah but not too derivative..

The stank face got me to haha 😂
Tallah Dude...you are insane. Instant fan.
holy shit this is awesome, great band!
Just found out the drummer is Mike Portnoy's son. That's sick, can't wait to hear the rest of this album.
OMG RECORD THE SINGERS VOCAL COVER OF RED LIGHT , you will be inspired!!!!!!!
and the singer is a youtuber!
@@nehemiasgonzalez6989 Is it a cover if he sings the song he wrote? lol
N Siev nah but they did also release a music video too....what do you think that type of video should be called? “ oh yeah and hey record the singers vocals for red light!?”
Avant Garde Nu Metalcore Masterpiece! 😁
I thought I’d see you here.
What u think bro I was hoping to see u do this track
The vocalist also does some pretty sick vocal covers on one of his youtube channels "hungry covers." I'm a pretty big fan of these guys
and he he has some sick og songs on hungry lights as well
His cover of ‘Bring me back to life’ by Evanescence is crazy. When he switches between the male and female vocals within seconds seamlessly I lost my mind
They've needed to blow up for quite a bit now. Everyone be sleepin on em
💯%

16!? No way!!! He has a bright future holy crap
@@METALBIRB Check that, misread the article I read, he was 16 when he and Justin started the band. He's 21 now. Either way, super talented youngster.
@@mattwallace4768 he was 18 when tallah started
ERRA - Snowblood is a MUST react!!!
Fun fact I'll give y'all for free, since you mention his range several times, it's possibly even more impressive than you think. Justin has a six octave vocal range as of this year.
Finally, Tallah! You can also check their song Placenta!.
Placenta is fantastic
I've been following Justin's RUclips channel for a while now, and he is just absolutely phenomenal. He's so weird and quirky and it DEFINITELY shows through his music. I haven't checked out this song yet, but I was completely blown away. This is going to be on repeat for aaa whiilleee

vocals are mike patton-esque. love it!!
I’ve been a fan of this band since their first single in 2018, and i’m super happy you checked them out, I can’t wait for their album to come out
Their gonna blow up bro

Sick shirt guy! But also love this band! I just found them this week and have been binging since!
Reminds me of slipknot a little, 👍
I believe that Justin has said that Korn and Slipknot fans would love this band.
their influences are slipknot korn and code orange
I was showing them to my wife one day and the only way I could think to describe them was, "Imagine Linkin Park and Korn had a baby, and then that baby met and had a baby with Strapping Young Lad."
The way homeboy says "Iowa" is bothersome. Lol! Dope reaction though!
All these new reactions to Tallah give me a good feeling that Justin may finally be about to blow up like he deserves. Dude is a legit wizard.
Absolutelyyyyy insane !!!! ❤️❤️ , The vocalist did like 10 different techniques
The intro tripod sounds are a really cool touch
Yes I’m glad the world is starting to take note October 2 it’s on
At last these guys get some recognition!! I've been saying this over and over, they're about to make it big, they give metal a fresh breath musically, and their live shows look like an absolute pleasure to be in!
Reminded me a lot of Dir En Grey!
Dir En Grey is one of Justin’s influences. I knew when I heard this the first time that he sounded like Kyo sometimes. He pulls influence from everywhere to get his vocals and mashes it all in at some point.
Mark my words.. this band is gonna be freaking huge!!
These guys are insane! Tallah are so great. Especially Max and Justin. Great reaction dudes. 🤘🤘
Love these guys, placenta is an amazing track.cannot wait for this album.
When people say Tallah i say 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐀𝐒𝐌 - "God Of War" Official Audio. Because this year is nu metal really back!
This band is my favorite find of the year they're so fucking intense I love it
So good, the low voice part gave me some Mike Patton vibes. The changes through out, fuckin eh new fan for sure!
I’ve followed this band for 2 years and literally cannot wait for the album to drop!
I can't wait to see these bois blow up
Fucking love Tallah. Best band of 2020 fr
Thank you for introducing me! That was so good, holy shit!
Hes definitely going all in. Check out a vocal video he did. Pretty much what he does when he records haha
Justin has the absolute best Lamb of God- Walk With Me In Hell cover I've ever heard. He nailed Randy Blythe's sound!
Please react to all of their music!! Or at least a full album reaction on the 2nd of October when it comes out!!!
Another great band to meet Pandemia context. Really Thanks for this guys!
You've got to check out Placenta bro. That song slaps
The live one take of this song is awesome!
I’ve been meaning to listen to this band since Max Portnoy, the drummer, is the son of Mike Portnoy. The lead singers style and voice reminds me of Jared Gomes from Hed PE. Good shit!!!! Great Reaction!!!
Definitely gotta check out the band Outwaves. They have a lyric video for “Fake A Smile” or a music video for “Hello Nightmare” both are solid
Breakdown had me shooketh
That chorus gives me serious ETID vibes... This is really interesting. I dig this.
L.E.D actually impressed me even more than Overconfidence. Definitely react to that one.
I recently heard a song by a band called Lost Seconds. Check out their song "Wounds", it's dope!
ALBUM OF THE YEAR!
That's it I'm officially a fan now like unholy shit so different.
Justin's voice is absolutely mental jesus christ
I’m almost positive that you guys are going to react to it, but I’m throwing ERRA’s new track out there. It’s pretty damn good
Justin has a couple cool solo projects called Hungry Lights, Hungry Pootoos, and one under his own name.

Definitely really good stuff tho
He doesnt have a project under his own name any anymore. He redid that album (Mt. Garbage) with From the Looks of Things
Joshua Martineau yeah. The dude is crazy talented and doesn’t do anything at all to waste it.
Joshua Martineau which is all still just him. The first thing he has really done with people is Tallah because it is the first band that really allowed him to be as strange, vocally, as he is.
Leaders of the band are max and the lead singer Justin
I ADORE TallaH.... Though another reaction vid..nuff said.
7:08 eyeowa
Not my usual cup of tea, but this is fantastic!
Love Tallah!!!
Tallah is sick as fuck
React to placenta next! This song leads into it :)
Nonpoint+Slipknot= THIS
Every song has structure, this guys don't just gonna release unstructured songs
Best Slipknot cover ever...Periphery - Heretic Anthem
Dreamhouse by Deafheaven!
More like Nu-Metalcore, if anything. Much closer to Nu-Metal, than Metalcore, really.
Either way, it's a fantastic band, and a bangin' track.
This man said I-O-Wa 😂😂
We’re Canadian and we LOVE our vowels eh
METALBIRB I know man I’m just busting y’alls balls keep up the good work brotha love the content! I’ve found so many good bands from your channel!
Ehhhhh what do ya mean it’s not pronounced I-O-Wa?! 😂
Is it crazy to think this is the type of drumming missing from modern Slipknot? Jay is okay. But, this oozes Joey vibes
Dude check out new Erra!
This band grows on you though, I promise. Like a fungus. I didn't really like it that much at first and now I love it.
Check out Spirit breaker - A cure for wellness
ERRA - Snowblood
And slipknot influence
Snowblood by ERRA! You’ll lose your mind! 🤘🏼
React to everything they have
Come on!
Sound abit like my plague by slipknot...
satchit ananda 100% and that’s the track that I was talking about when I said InVisions did a cover of Slipknot. You should definitely check that out if you haven’t heard it.
Eye-OH-uh
ERRA!!!!
Why does dude say Iowa like that?
they remind me a lot of old from first to last. i like them a lot.
Eh. I'd honestly take the original nu metal over this. The little shrill things he does kills it. Plus the breaths. Holy fuck.
Its too raw, i liked that in this band, is just like a live recording
Red light, the sad, placenta those songs you have not reacted too
Powerman 5001
1st.
What now?
I'm still figuring out what I think about these guys, their first single I thought was great then came the next track and the next hmm.. This very slipknot yeah but not too derivative..
Only 2 songs , you guys have more to react to and get to know no the members
