Of course, I know of them, but don't know them. I'm feeling my age - my son's a huge fan...lol. Another "legendary" more modern band, that passed me by. Nice collection for sure. I do know some of their art - which is very original and very cool.
This will be good.. Recently I picked up two All LP's Problematic and Allroy Saves. I will check out the Descendants doc eventually. I have Enjoy ! All & Bonus Tracks on vinyl from Greg Ginn's SST Store. 😇
ive got most of Descendents on vinyl too. for whatever the reason as much i like ALL i just never got into them like Descendents. Did see ALL live in Austin back in 2008. After the set lead singer jumped into the crowd to watch Dead Milkmen w the rest of us.
I like Dead Milkmen too ! I could use a copy of Milo Goes To College.. The SST Store was always out.

No, it's not, and I'll check to see if I have it on Cd. It will show up on vinyl at the right time !
I never got much into the Descendants . But I Like Food and Weinerschnitzel 😂 I love those bathroom humor titles on those later disks. I moved a good number of OG pressings from them at my store back in the day. They always brought a nice push toward making the rent. I like that they have a couple break away tracks on that album that aren’t straight ahead punk tracks. I dig when band show their versatility like that. Captain Beefheart does that on Safe As Milk. If I come across a Descendants LP nowadays I’m keeping it! Nice collection and great info as always, Steve.
dont forget No Fatburger!! doesnt surprise me they were a big seller for you. agree with ya regarding them playing stuff aside from punk. even just straight up pop punk as opposed to some of their more hardcore sounding punk early on. showed versatility. how they never wrote a song about churros i dont know.

Hi Steve! When I lived in Huntington Beach so many people my age talked about The Descendents. They were huge out there. I'm not a huge punk rock guy, but know a few of the CDs you showed. Nice you were able to get back to your home in between your travels. Hope you're doing well. ✌
the illusion of video. im still on the road. no going home till late july. i shoot and edit and upload videos to youtube way in advance. have a stockpile in my account to last till june. if i die itll be like i havent left. hahaha. yes HB is prime ground for Descendents fans. always good to hear from ya dude.
This is a band that just passed me by, so this is a very useful video. I have some exploring to do!

Great band but I only have Milo Goes to College. Got an original last year for a pretty awesome price. Always loved their art work. They had some pretty interesting songs
i have most on vinyl and had no idea they were all so hard to find these days. might have to look into selling them. shocking they arent all readily available.

yeh mark considering how many breaks they took they still have a stocked catalog. listen dude thats awesome ya wanna send some stuff. really not necessary. appreciate it. i was talking to JT recently and your name came up and he said you were in rochester? that right? i was there like a year ago visiting friends. went to record archive. wish i knew i woulda touched base. might be back that way in september.

I've only heard of the Decendents in name only but no material. Just one more band on the list I'll have to look into.
