hi everyone, just figured out how to fix 'fatal error occurred' box for Windows 10 and probably Windows 8 users, note this may not work in windows 8. In the search bar, search compatibility and click on the first option (run programs made for previous versions of windows). click on troubleshoot and you may get an option for windows 10, 8, or 7. choose 7. Test it and if it works, save the changes in the window. All credit to Christians's comment, just expanded on it.
If you encountered a message "Fatal error" change the date or month or year at the part 3:21 as i see after the "hostid" in the part that i mentioned. FOR SHORT EXPLANATION CHANGE THE DATE OR MONTH OR YEAR OF "start" PHRASE IN "license.txt"
Works perfectly but when i want to reopen project it shows "Failed to open project: Corrupted project file". Any ideas how to solve it? Thanks a lot for answer.
You seem to love right-click - refresh after each action. Of course, it doesn't do anything other than redraw your desktop icons, but if it helps you psychologically...

It actually works! If you are using Windows 10 you will need to run the compatibility assistant, then test and accept the changes.
