      Popping means you are working a new range of motion/new muscles (: as long as it’s not painful or uncomfortable!

      It’s definitely a challenge! In order to achieve your goals, you have to push past your personal perceived limits and try new things. It gets easier with practice! You got this!!!!

    this actually got me rlly flexible! thanks! i’ve never been good at middle splits. i’m really good at splits with my left leg in the front, so i realized i can stretch my right leg more to get them both as flexible which maybe could give me the middle splits

      After doing the stretch routine (it was really good for opening my hips)
      and then I held the middle splits for 15 minutes on the wall ( like a wall middle split) is this okay? or will I break something😬💕💕✨

    I have a playlist with all of your stretching videos and I shuffle it an do a random stretching routine every day. I'm an aerialist, and the center I practice at is closed obviously, so I'm really trying to get more flexible and not let my muscles atrophy while on lockdown. Your videos are so amazing, and I've learned a ton of awesome stretches from your videos that I've never done in my aerial classes or my school PE class. Thank a bunch for the amazing variety :)

    Erica can you upload an aerial tutorial? I’m really trying to work on mine but I can only keep my hands up during the first half, and when I hold something in my hands and try to do it my hips/legs don’t go high enough.

      I’ve learned the aerial after 2.5 years of practicing. My tips are you definitely should have a perfect and super quick star/side walkover. Then try doing the aerial on the trampoline and then when doing on the ground try to jump as high as you can! Make your body go up, and not down when jumping into aerial. You can help that with your arms, try to push them up as well, throw yourself up basically and just turn your legs really quickly. It takes practice but you’ll get it if you keep working!! Good luck

      Do a cartwheel the one handed cartwheel then make sure u have a mat *very squishy mat* then ariel the side one

      You may be flexible in certain areas, but tighter in others. That is normal! Try straddle holds - they will help

    thanks Erica I'm a girl I I finally learned my middle splits cause I quit gymnastics when I was 9 so I wanted to get my flexibility back in taught myself how to do a backbend a cartwheel hand stand and you taught me how to do a high Kick and middle splits I love u so much

    Hey, I heard that frog tie sits/w-position is bad for your hips. Even though Erica is amazing, you should know that.

      Some people find discomfort in sitting on their knees - especially if they have bony/knobby joints. If this is the case definitely skip over these!

      @@ericalinx I think she means the way the knees are bent . it is pretty bad for them , even if you are flexible, since knees aren't made to bend out like that

    Oh my gawd it’s litterly like magic! I stopped stretching then lost my splits and my legs were stiff and I realized I really wanted to be a gymnast and I see this and I gte my splits in 3 freaking minutes!!!! It’s amazing!

    i have watched many videos of how to get my middle split and honestly yours is the only that worked. i used to almost be able to do all of my splits but my legs tightened up. and atlas, i have 1-2 inches between the floor and me. Thanks

    I was doing this video on my trampoline and 4 spiders climbed out of my rolled up towels and I screamed so loud and I didnt even get my splits:( but I'll keep trying I believe you videos QUEEN

    Erica you are my Idol and whenever I practice your streches I imagine you are watching over me so I can do my best for you and once I had a nightmare where you were gonna perform somewhere and my parents let me come and you kept avoiding me and I was sobbing and I eventually got to meet you but you didn't like me and on your free stretch class video I wasn't there during the livestream but I couldnt figure out how to comment on the stream and I almost cried. This whole comment is the fact that I'm your biggest fan.

    I felt a big difference in first time doing these stretches. I have stretched muscles that have never been stretched before with your techniques. I believe the reason why I could never achieve middle splits before was because I was not stretching my abductor muscles. I already know how to do side splits those are very easy! I cannot wait to master middle splits 🤗

      Sarah Dakota if you want to fully achieve the splits I recommend doing this 3-4 times a week! To avoid losing your splits, you should stretch and practice at least once in a while, though I prefer doing a routine daily!💕

    thank you for this i dont know if this didnt work for anyone else i will follow this everyday it helped me even though im already a little flexible and can already do a side split i have very thick legs so my flexibility is very unlikely and the fact that this helped my flexibilitywith other things is amazing i know this video is old but i thank you for this because i am a young 10 year old majorette dancer and this helped alot!

    I have been trying to get a splits, and I'm gonna try this one! My left leg is not so flexible, but my right one can do a kick that is really high and straightened

      It’s normal to have one leg more flexible than the other. Try stretching your left leg a few seconds longer than your right!

    Hi! I'm literally soooo close but whenever I try to push all the way down I feel extreme pain. 😞any tips? BTW love this it helped

      maybe try warming up before stretching by doing excercises like jumping jacks or running in place, or take a warm shower or bath first. and as you get further, try to hold stretches longer. just keep slowly getting further! good luck!! ♡♡
