Most historians would agree that if the US had stayed involved in world affairs & had kept strong militarily that Hitler & Stalin would never have become as dominant as they did. You make a number of extraordinary assertione. If anyone "led" the US into WW I, it was British intelligence. And it is unlikely that the Brits would have succeeded had the Germans not had the incredible stupidity to sink a liner with many Americans aboard and then to try to conspire with Mexico against the US.
@GretschDog The propaganda value of sinking a liner full of women and children including several hundred Americans far outweighed any gain from keeping some rifle ammunition from British troops. In any event, unrestricted sub warfare & the Zimmerman telegram played a much bigger role than the sinking of the Lusitania in getting Wilson to declare war.
History never stops being important. My point is that the motives of the Brits and their Anglophile US friends would have been irrelevant if the Germans had not been so monumentally stupid.
I am not entirely sure what you mean. Is history complex? Of course. I am not a great believer in conspiracy theories. Even to the extent conspiracy theories have any validity, history tends to confound the best laid plains of mice and men.
What does it matter why? The fact remains that it was stupid to sink the liner. That was exactly what the Brits and Anglophile Americans like the Morgans wanted the Germans to do. The infamous Zimmerman telegram is well documented. What is less well known is that the Mexicans (wisely) declined to go along with the German entreaty.
In what way? As I say, even with the conspiratorial efforts of the Brits and the House of Morgan, if the Germans had not been so incredibly stupid, it would not have mattered.
"If we'd stayed strong and involved in the world after WW I, this would never have happened." Thats why Christ is returning. Humans arent capable of preventing evil without Gods leadership.

YES I AGREE.
Wish this version could be found on RUclips
You mean the entire movie? I can't seem to find it streaming online either. It is worth seeing.
I found it on dvd at my public library.
All actors are brilliant. Almost not an acting at all.
Toto...we're not in Kansas anymore.
History never stops being important. My point is that the motives of the Brits and their Anglophile US friends would have been irrelevant if the Germans had not been so monumentally stupid.
Too bad Tom Robinson didn’t have this guy as his lawyer. He would have taken Ewells apart piece by piece.
I am not entirely sure what you mean. Is history complex? Of course. I am not a great believer in conspiracy theories. Even to the extent conspiracy theories have any validity, history tends to confound the best laid plains of mice and men.
Saul, I don't get the connection between your title and this particular scene.
Judy was wonderfully over the top here.
And Zimmerman corroborated the authenticity of the telegram!
In what way? As I say, even with the conspiratorial efforts of the Brits and the House of Morgan, if the Germans had not been so incredibly stupid, it would not have mattered.
GOP did all they could to stop FDR from confronting Hitler
Montgomery Clift was equally as good in his performance
❤
Hollywood used to be Great. Just like the U.S.
BUT WE WERE JUST FOR US.......AND THEN?
I would like to see Max put George Soros on the stand. Wouldn't that be something?
What about every MotherF***** who existed.
"If we'd stayed strong and involved in the world after WW I, this would never have happened."
Thats why Christ is returning. Humans arent capable of preventing evil without Gods leadership.
NOT BIBLICALLY CORRECT. SORRY.
What scripture can you cite?
It the US stayed out altogether, it never would have happened.
That's absolute nonsense.
STAY ON TOPIC PLEASE!
Yeah, never mind Pearl Harbor. (Yes, I know that was Japan, but they were allies with Germany, who had been decimating Europe.)
@@roberthenleynola What was the reason for FDR (in plain street talk) to "get right in the face" of the Japanese navy? He puts a cruiser task force in the Philippines, right in their shipping lanes, and issued a memo that said - well, if you lose one cruiser that's OK, just don't lose them all. And the navy didn't have to be at Pearl Harbor either. They would never have been hit at San Diego.
On one hand, I have no problem with provoking someone and using their response as an excuse to go ballistic. On the other hand, I do have a problem with lying about it.
why are old movies so poorly acted
why are old movies so well acted is what I hope you meant. Judgment at Nuremberg was a clinic.

Ignore him, he is trying to get a reaction. Modern movies are pale compared to this
Some of the worst acting ever by Judy garland.
I am guessing that a lot of actors would like to perform as well.
@@billboth4814 This comment obviously has nothing to do with Judy Garland. I hope you're feeling better.....
@@wgtinsley I am fine. You?
@@billboth4814 I'm fine. Thanks for asking....
@@billboth4814 I am well also. Thanks for asking....
