    In every sentence we can use in the past tense? Like 'went away'?

    • @abucket9454
      @abucket9454 4 года назад

      You sure can, though with "Went away", it works only when talking about someone or something leaving.
      For example, "My brother went away." That is the past tense of "My brother is going away", or "My brother will go away."

    GO AHEAD
    A thousand disappointments in the past cannot equal the power of one positive action right now
    Go ahead and go for it

    Alisha could you please tell me the meaning and use of the word "determine "?

    • @abucket9454
      @abucket9454 4 года назад

      "Determine" can mean many things
      1. To decide. "After watching the movie, the boy determined that it was terrible."
      ^ This can also be an adjective. "The boy was determined to watch the game." This means that the boy decided to watch the game.
      2. Cause something to happen in a certain way. "The insult determined that the two kids would stop being friends."
      There are more meanings, but these two are the meanings that are used the most! I hope this helps! :)
