      I am guessing it is maybe its people, makes him feel welcome, saddly to say in other latinamerican countries descrimination and why not to say racism exist in bigger proportions, against native indians and color people but el salvadpr, we have live like if we all know each other we got el chino, el negro, el prieto, el pallulo, el chele, el gringo, el chaparro, el botija and el chompiras 😅, i know i did not make sense but all those arw adjectives for people who looks like certain race, yet they are salvadoreans and those adjectives are a normal way to call them. I forgo el colocho.

    I always like museums. Interesting that the ancient articles are right there in front of you not in display cases. This made the objects seem more real and part of our lives too. Your Spanish seems amazing by the way! The guide was enthusiastic and seemed well versed on the material presented. You can tell he really cares about his museum. Enjoyed the video!!

    The soap ball is called " Jabon de cuche" means pig soap but I'm not sure about the ingredients. Maybe someone can tell us. It might have pigs fat but not sure. Anyways your videos are great and you have no idea how many people appreciates your videos about El Salvador. You are our hero and we love you brother.

    Hey JC, that little wooden rake was used for spreading the coffe beans when they were toasted on the comal. And the jabón de cuche people used as regular soap.

    Thank you bro for exploring our country and showing us places that we never seen b4 .Probably you already know but just in case you don’t the guacal/cup or the cup that the guy dropped on the floor the fruit is called cutuco/a also it’s called jicaro the seeds that come inside of it that’s where horchata is made from. That’s the reason why the guy mention horchata. The seed that comes inside the fruit it’s also called Morro. And from the shell of the fruit you make the drinking cup . 👋👋

    "El Jabón de cuche" it's a soap made from pig's fat. Cuche is slang for pig.
    Old school Salvi's soap for showering and washing clothes 😁 when I was a little girl I never liked " Jabón de cuche" 😁

    “Jabón de Cuche” known as Maya Soap or Bola Negra is a soap used mostly in the indigenous people who passed along to the modern civilization but not many people use it nowadays. It is fat from pigs mixed with ashes from burned wood and calcium oxide. The natives bathed three to four times a day with it. Now is fat from bovine with olive oil and ashes but the original is the best since there is no need for conditioner.
    I am so happy you are exploring parts of El Salvador that are not much visitors from tourists. It is a beautiful country... Mi Tierra Natal!!!

    What was the reason you to wanted to meet El Salvador? How did you get here?

      Y no es malo, de hecho es muy natural, no contiene compuestos químicos. Es mucho más beneficio que los jabones industriales.
      Antiguamente los jabones se elaboraban de forma artesanal usando aceites y grasas naturales, existían grandes productores de jabón artesanal, como Francia con el jabón de Marsella, España con la producción del jabón de Castilla y Siria con su famoso jabón de Alepo, donde su ingrediente principal era el aceite de Oliva.
      Las recetas pasaban de generación en generación y las consideraban la herencia más valiosa de la que disponían.
      En El Salvador su jabón artesanal conocido como "jabón de cuche" este aún se produce (menor cantidad ) para la venta, ya que en algunas zonas del país, las personas mayores prefieren seguir usando ese jabón y no los industriales.

      Trust me, I do. But RUclips is saying that the main langue spoken in this video is Spanish and irs not allowing the Spanish words spoken to be translated to English or any other language. I just deleted the RUclips Spanish Subtitles in hopes that the English version will appear (which allows Auto Translation to other languages) but it does not. There nothing i can do about certain videos.

    Can you please make a video on El Salvadors President proposing Bitcoin as legal tender and what locals may think about this? Such a video may attract new viewers for you as well since El Salvador is the first country to initiate this step and this is a big deal in crypto world, and may lead to a new wave of expats going to El Salvador.     Jabon de cuche is a pork soap for hair some ladies used to said that makes your hair grows healthier, I don't know we didn't use it at home, but I'm talking in the 1960 and 1970 because after that I left the country I go to visit but that's about it.

    Jabon de cuche=Pig soap, is an organic soap that our salvadorean people still using. Not sure what are the ingredients but definitely there is not pig inside, but i guess the name is because the strong/particular smell of the soap.
