Same, I played it my sophomore year in high school (2018) and here I am still listening to it😂. I’m a percussionist so unfortunately I don’t have any musical instruments anymore, but still nice to hear and remember the beautiful music!
It’s actually harder than it looks, I don’t think that this recording shows it as prominently but it can be tricky to get a lot of emotion and feeling in what you play but yes at first glance it does look easy... :)
I had to play this song for abc band (a.k.a honor band) (a.k.a top players) and our band director told us to delicate this song to her cat that got ripped to shreds from a dog when she was like 7 and now she’s like 38 so.... anyways love the song
I have to play this for all district band (basically what you are talking about.) I am going to play it very well now and dedicate it to your band directors cat 😌
I know it’s weird to reply over a year later, but I also played bells for this song. This is one of the very few songs you’ll see that actually features mallet instruments. So that’s pretty cool
WideWater45 oh dw ab it lol- and i play bells on like everything. i learned the sheet music, thankfully, and our performance went fine. it's a good song
This was my favorite piece to play on the clarinet, because finally we got a song that the clarinet had a big part in
right we never get good parts
I played French horn on this and it’s so relaxing I still practice using this song today
I know! This is one of my favorite pieces
