- President Zelensky has said air defences need to be strengthened around Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, as Russia targets the surrounding region in a new offensive.
Zelensky told Antony Blinken, the United States secretary of state who made a surprise visit to Kyiv on Tuesday, that Ukraine needs at least two air defence batteries for the northeastern city, which is being pummelled by drone and missile strikes.

Russia doesnt starts mass mobilization. They motivate soldiers with decent pay check. Which gives them, I guess, enough people to have some superiority, especially with weapon aid paused for so long. But to have a big upper hand, russia would have to start mass mobilization. I bet, russian goverment doesn't want to risk mass mobilization, coz it could backfire.
@@nikolajkapa2283 they can start mass mobilization just fine now when ukraine strike inside Russia, Ukraine turned them into the defending country. In our eyes they might not be but for millions of Russians an Putin had plenty of time use this to his advantage to hold plenty speeches and motivate the people, if mass mobilization doesn't happen is because is not needed
