And I would want to change the Glass to come much lower on the sides in the cabin more of a Yacht style/ feel .

Hey mate, this boat full of fuel, water etc. is right on 3500kg as it's built with a lot more gear in it to meet our survey requirements. With that we went with a GMSV Silverado 2500HD... And that thing is more than capable!

Yeah it's a no brainer this boat is on another lvl a 10/10. But after you buy the boat and trailer that is worth the same price as a house you then need to buy the right vehicle to tow it and if you dont cheap out that vehicle could also cost in the 6 figures. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm guess the boat and trailer 240k- 280k and I'm thinking you need a great 4x4 and that's 100k-150k maybe alittle more
What boggled my mind is the huge boat towed by a small little truck. In America, that boat be towed by a huge 1 ton diesel v8 truck! That truck looks like the size of my Tacoma, which I wouldn’t tow any boat over 4k pounds or say 2tons.
Do you have any width restrictions for towing this in NZ? For a boat with this beam, in Aus (depending on what state your in), we have to use wide load signs, 4 red flags, only tow during daylight, have a guy walking one hundred metres ahead waving a flag etc etc. Still, for this boat I think it might be worth the hassle!

Plenty of cheaper utes are 3500kg tow rated
Add another 100 on the boat, maybe a bit more because it was a survey boat needs double of everything in it

Aluminum is lighter than fiberglass not sure how much but I know that if you get a Tacoma or a Colorado it won’t pull out a +25 ft boat

cant be over 3m wide and anything over 2.9 requires flags or hi vis signs on each corner
@@thomaswebby2 our over width restrictions kick in after 2.5m, it can get a bit restrictive if you’re looking at a boat from over seas ☹️
