hi Pat, thanks for sharing your knowledge and your time doing this amazing videos. I've been studying them a lot and making good progress as I started from zero in hydraulics, but I still have some questions. I'm planing to do a hydraulic forging press to forge steel knifes. It will be a system with a double action cylinder . So normal position will be retracted and strokes extending the rod. I'm in doubt on which type of solenoid of manual valve regarding its center position should I use that after actioning to extend and press the still should return the piston automatically to its normal retracted position when I release the input switch or handle. I'm guessing for what I study so far it will be the open center spool type, but I would appreciate if you confirm that to me. Also, it is possible to control the return point of the rod when retracting with a limit switch to avoid it going to full retracted position every time and how would I achieve that? Thanks very much in advance. Mauro.
Thank you sir
I only learned the schematic diagrams but never understood it
But now all my doubts are cleared
Loved ur lecture sir
Glad to hear that

How heavy is the attachment that will be attached to the cylinder for hammering the steel and what is the diameter of the cylinder?
Cylinder bore is 6 inches, rod 4 inches and about 15 kg attachment. Also, my motor is 7,5hp: can it drive a 13 gpm pump?
Can you one day put a diagram with more cylinder like 2 or 4
Hi, I also have an excavator and I don't know exactly how to adjust the pressure
Dope vid bro
Appreciate it
Great sir...
thanks
Thank you so much sir. that was great...
Most welcome!
Thank u pat
