Every once in awhile you're lucky enough to hear something that on the first note you know this is one of the greatest things you've ever heard. This is the latest one.

This is freakin' great! I don't know the story of musicians around Thile, but I love his passion and dedication that took him through all kinds of beautiful music, and this is one of the results. I discovered him through Vulfpeck, precisely in the video of Dean Town performed at Live From Here (pure energy and rhythm), then I started to listen to his own music on Spotify. The funny thing is that I'm Italian so I'm not really exposed to funk/country/bluegrass, still music such as Vulfpeck's, Thile's and others' sounds extremely attractive to me.

Saw them earlier this summer at Cain Park in Cleveland Heights, Oh. I know Chris Eldridge’s dad from when His bandmate John Duffey was the repair guy at Arlington Music whereI was a sales guy and taught guitar to kids. Seldom Scene were amazing.

Hey WGBH Music: any chance that this footage will be released as a purchaseable DVD? I'd love to get my hands on the full show.

***** Very nice of you to say, Sunnie, but sorry no DVD for sale. However, we will be uploading the full set video next week (minus the covers). The covers we'll upload to our website so basically all the content will be available.

The only thing wrong with this song is the violin in the last chorus and outro should have been played throughout every chorus, not just the last one. One of my favorite songs!

Lovely show WGBH! But why, oh why, do concertgoers insist on screaming out in the quiet spots? Stop all alcohol sales in the second song!

I'd rather they just wait for the song to end, and then detune.....great to be prepared, but it was distracting......boogers. Dr. johnny fever.
