- Hello everyone. This video started as one thing and ended up another. I have a huge bin of projects that I have either gotten bored with, I had to set aside because life got in the way or they didn't turn out like my imagination wanted them to. In this case, it's a cotton sweater that I started after my craft store closed in 2012. (Long story.) I got all the squares done, hooked them together and ugh...I did NOT like it. So into the bin it went. This video demonstrates me undoing what I did then and revamping it. I have learned a lot more in the 11 or so years so I also took the time and redid the woven ends, I had to make more squares to make it look better. Once I started recording. something in me needed to just talk to you and not teach. Life has dished out some challenges lately and, while I had every intention of this being a "Hey, if you don't like what you did, redo it" kinda video, it ended up being me chatting away, being VERY thankful for my subscribers and even if no one watches it or bashes me for crappy recording or editing or whatever, it really won't affect me because I know at least 1 person out there will be crocheting and letting it run while they are crocheting. We aren't alone in our talent even though we may feel alone in life. In all honesty, I STILL don't like the sweater and it looks awful on me! It is comfy though even though it is a bit heavy. I will either give it to a friend or family member or I may actually rip it all out again and reclaim the yarn. If you have read this far and actually like the sweater, just type in "I would like the sweater" in the comments and I will do a drawing and send it to the winner as a token of my appreciation for you hanging out with me. It's kind of a one-size-fits-all sweater but I will say it is not larger than a 2x. Being cotton, it is super comfy to wear. It feels nice against the skin. Thank you for sticking with me. My channel just became eligible for monetization but I haven't been prompted to do the next steps yet. But I am on to the next stage. I have a couple of simple projects in the works: a V stitch hat and a neck warmer because winter is coming! I am not sure when I will get those out but that is what I have planned. Love to you all. ~Coryn
