He knew it was a good hit, but didn't find a lot of blood. It was still very wet from heavy rains we had the day before. Glad we found it. Thanks for watching!
Pretty cool! The contrast makes it really easy to spot the deer. Looks like you can see the game trails too.
It was in a cutover. There were no really tall trees to block the ground with their overhead cover. Using our cell phones, I was able to guide him down the game trail by that the deer had taken and he walked right up to it! He swears he would not have found that deer that night as he had trouble finding blood, despite it being a good and fatal hit.
