    People don’t realize how technical working on these things can be, there are so many factors within the unit and the surrounding environment that can contribute to why the unit isn’t working.

    Did you just patch over the leak with brazing alloy?

    I normally find leak at submersible coil for the condensate water. You should set up donation page like another guy. I learn many stuff from you then apply it to my customers.

    Hi Anthony is it the norm to use Imperial measurements in Canada or a combination of Metric and Imperial ? I have usually used both but I prefer Imp.

    How do you know the desired box temp and its TD?

  • @jordeneden9408
    @jordeneden9408 Год назад +1

    Why do you do design box temperature instead of actual box temperature? So say that the box was 50° now that you did your repair. Would you not do 50° - your TD to give you what your suction pressure / saturation temperature should be?

    • @REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH
      @REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH  Год назад +2

      Cap tube is fixed, so desired temp is what is used. A TXV changes as pressure drops, so for that we use current temp.

      I've been a heating and air contractor for the last 5 years and just got my refrigeration license. Your videos have been so helpful in preparing me for the specifics of refrigeration that aren't necessarily the same in a/c. This is a great example of information that is critical that would likely have been a hard lesson to learn if I went out on a repair not knowing. Just want to say thank you for passing along your knowledge and setting a great example. Keep up the good work! @@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH

    Tech tip: Do not leak search r290 with a lighter 😂😂😂

  • @robgraham1204
    @robgraham1204 4 месяца назад

    So you put in r404a to check for leaks then let it go
    Can't do that in the UK
    F gas regulations
    You use ofn or tracer gas
