The German Tiger E heavy tank went up to 6.0 recently, and many were worried it wouldn't perform well. They were wrong. Heavy Tank No.6 is the same thing, but Japanese.

Gaijin reuses the Roundel icon for Britain, France, Italy, and Sweden rather than giving any of them something unique like the other nations.
More over, Italy doesn't even *GET THE M109A1*, they get the M109G like Germany just with a M2HB instead of an MG3.
And while it wasn't the Black Prince player, the M109A1 was the Cent Mk1 that killed Spookston earlier in that round.

5.7 was a joy before so with the 2 BR changes it could actually be better. Waffentrager, Panther D, Panzer 4/70 and both Tigers was too good i guess

Also please play the ST-A3, it's a very cool tank with a range finder, good HEAT round and an autoloader
"Germany without the Germans" is the story of literally anything that got exported or captured. Panther? 10/10 with the Russians and French. Tiger? 10/10 with the Japanese. MG 151s? 10/10 on the premium Ki-61.
Germany has the best winrate out of big 3 around 6.0. Germna mains aren't actually any worse than any other nation mains from the big 3, it's just confirmation bias, fueled by the general disdain for "wherhaboos".
even the APHE is alright on the ST-A3
The ST-A3 is a monster on a flank due to its mobility. 45 km/h isn't all that high but it gets there super quick and keeps most of that speed when turning or going uphill.

It would also make sense because generally USA players are the best because they actually have to play smart to get somewhere. The amount of Tiger rushers in 5.0 to 6.0 is insane. I see people rush in with their Tiger, die and spawn in a Panzer 3 constantly. It isnt biased it is just true that germany has the most useless and moronic playerbase for the most part. Every game i play with german tanks reminds me of that.

Something else that doesn’t suffer is totally the Conqueror Mk.2, with it’s stabilizer, heavy armor and APDS it’s definitely a fun vehicle to play.
Pretty sure he would disagree with that, also he absolutely hates APDS
Long ass reload, APDS that does no post pen dmg, shatters on the mantlet of a Leopard 1 and actually the angled performance ain't that great.

Basically is a type of large eagle, so I think it is intended for aircraft, a bit like English speaking aircrews put the word "Eagle" or "Hawk" on their plane, don't mean much, just feel really cool on an aircraft
By the way, the Kanji for tiger is 虎, I think it is a bit of a miss opportunity that we don't have more of these kind of decal in game, animals names on vehicles are really cool and pretty realistic

Spookston you should try the m2a2, it’s an American low tier tank on the stururt chassis but it has 2 turrets, one 7.62 mg and one .50 cal it’s pretty sad, but it’s also fast and ratty. Day 50

Historically that driver's port upper block would come off after or during a shell impact. It was a weak point, but in a way Dagor can't model.

@@IgzileeI would agree but it's speed and penetration is really nice, I've also had really good luck with getting overpenned. In an 8.0 lineup it's really good as a late game sweep up vehicle
Ah the tiger, still an amazing tank at 6.0, be it arcade or realistic. Also the drivers port is really some bs, had it tank several Russian 100/122mm at point blank
i have seen it tanking DM53 from a Leo 2A6...
The driver's port, the machine gun port, and the strip of metal at the top of the UFP are like magnetic, I swear. No matter where I aim if I'm shooting a Tiger I at distance, the shell is *drawn* to one of those 3 places.
i checked on the protection analysis a while back, iirc the armor on the port ranges from 600mm to 2000mm depending on where it is on the port
just found a screenshot i took of it, its 3500mm. LMFAO

Regarding nukes I've noticed the siren just will not sound off for the enemy team a lot of the time. Friendly ones do work most of the time but kinda cut off after a few seconds
Japan ordered Tiger I along with Panther and Panzer IIIs. But interesting is that only Panzer IIIs was delivered to Japan, where is no information where did it went or used.
See Gajin doesn't need the important part that it arrived and was used. They just needed it to "exist". Look at every Russian object tank. In reality most of them were terrible, but gajin put them in on the stats that Russian propaganda said they were.

The Object 120 for example. The barrel dislogeded when the vehicle moved. The object 279, there are no actual records of the tank being tested on with explosives. Despite that Gajin makes them premium and turns them to the best vehicles because "Russia have no bad tank mentality." Most of their tanks are dogshit but since Gajin said so, apparently people believe it

The main issue of uptiering most 5.3 heavy is that Gaijin is suppose to decompress the Mid/Late WW2 tank so they face less Cold war tank, they should make top tier at 14.0. Right now they are making 5.7-6.7 very compressed again (although the tank still do fine)

I've been playing the Jumbo recently, and somehow almost everything you face can pen the sponson side thing. Be it a Tiger or T-34, the shell just enters the tank like you over-angled despite you being perfectly head on.
My guess is there exist a small gap of flat 100 mm there.

Nice video, but can you try out the sdkfz.7/1 its abosluty op with its High explosive amorpiercing 37mm rounds. Its on 1.7 and has 59mm pen.
The german 37mm aa gun has only 49mm of pen. Which makes the t34 a very tough opponent.

Yea the Tiger is a good tank...if in a downtier...and the enemy is braindead...and they don't know where to shoot...and if you angle perfectly...and if the Russians (with artificially increased angled pen) aren't on the enemy team...and you don't get sniped from 4 KM by a cold-war tank...and some kid with ADHD in their M18 doesn't hold down W and enters your spawn before you've even left it...and you got 4k hours...and you don't get CAS'd by the aforementioned ADHD Hellcat who just got in a P47...
That's a lot of "ifs" for a tank that's supposed to be good.
I quit playing Germany after getting to the Tiger (The panthers are also objectively better in every single way), switched to France and have been incredibly happy since.
My average KD on France is 2 (not good, not bad) and despite getting to top tier, I've moved back to the Tiger to see if it truly was a "skill issue" and to my surprise...no, the tank is just horrendous.
The Americans teleport around the map, the Russians can drive backwards, the French if they're good can pen and one shot any tank, the Italians and Swedish get early APDS. For "how good" the Tiger is, you sure do need to do a lot of VERY specific things in order to fructify your "advantages", while other major nations and even smaller ones involve a lot less skill and a much higher reward.
The tiger is not a good tank, if you're smart then you can pen it in a 4.0 tank (being generous) and if not, shoot the large muzzle brake. They're so hilariously easy to kill and I'm tired of seeing one side of the community collectively gaslight the german players.

I've lost count, but I'm once again hoping for a Strv m/42 EH video... It's one of my favourite tanks, and it's APHE is quite similar to the one you're using here, with 260g of TNT it also tends to overpressure a lot of things. I would love to see a vid on that, I'll keep asking :)
You should try out some of the 5.0-6.7 premiums which survived the BR purge at that margin such as the T28 which i bullied a lot of uptiered Tigers and Panthers with and even had a couple 9-12 kill streaks with it, its such an underrated vehicle.

the shot at 3:58 on the jumbo's sponsons is the biggest and most consistent weakspot of the jumbo. Very consistent shot and OHKO with the tiger, panther sometimes doesnt have enough HE to kill.

12:55 you can hear music because in that apartment building its a sneakpeek.
In matches you can't really hear but if you enter custom battle and turn up the volume you can hear news and patriotic music in that area.
On the same map you can also hear the radio station of the police car.
On the Arctic map, if you go near the small dome in the middle of the map, you can hear the morse code saying `attack the d point', and in one of the villages on the edge of the map, in one of the houses, the war thunder theme song is being sung.
The real Rommels play this Tiger. I'm scared of seeing this on an enemy team compared to a German Tiger.
