    I have w210 eis
    It reaches the step at 6:55 and keeps trying to connect but refuse to erase
    I suspected the ir simulator is bad but it can read password easily
    What could be the problem?

      Hey! Thanks for checking out the video! Yes, with the Autel IM608, it’s possible to code the key for the Mercedes EIS and clear the password, but it can be a bit tricky. Just make sure you're following the correct steps

    I have im508xp400pro and gbox2. W906 had missing eis. I connected eis with working key to the car. I made a new key, no problem. But the key doesn't turn the ignition and no steering wheel unlock. Car remote keys work. How can i make this work with autel? Please help

      hey, you can do this by reprogramming the instrument cluster . check the connections and wiring to make sure everything is connected

      @globalcommerce7654 look it up maybe you can explain on your channel better so we can understand. 45 - 60 days companies like autel are going to start making you be registered through Nafsta when dealing with immobilizer and security systems. This will affect pcm and other modules. It's like $500 bucks a year and you are supposed to have a certain shop insurance. Maybe you can check and give us some insight. It's like big government whatever the car manufacturers deem security will affect the small mechanic!

      @@joesmo4749 It is NOT big government at all. This is actually coming from/requested from the tool makers themselves and of course NASTF is onboard as they will get paid. There is a really good chance NASTF and the tool makers have just found another way of grifting their customers. This is really nothing new, we have been paying for all of this for a long time as we already need all of it when logging into the OEM platforms. While this does not affect us in any way, it does make it more difficult for startups and already struggling repair shops. Hopefully these clowns in the aftermarket world will lose sales and reverse course after trying to tax the "little guy" again.

    I got a customer who removed his eis and brought it to me to make a key, but he damaged his eis. I was able to get a password and make a key, but it doesn't work because he damaged the coil so it doesn't put out a signal. When I do this process, will I need to use an emulator, or will his factory steering lock work? I noticed you used an emulator, and now it has me wondering. I didn't get paid on the job. it's been 3 months, but I still have his eis and the key I made. Once I told him his eis is damaged, he never paid me or picked up his stuff. But I know one day he will have to return. I told him to buy a new eis and bring it to me. Its a 207. I'm assuming that because you couldn't get key password. You wrote key password from donor eis. But sense I have key password when I write orignal eis data back to donor eis and input the orignal password. The key I already made should work correct? In your case you had no choice but to change the password to the password that came from donor but you was able to keep all the other info. So it made you make a key with that password if I'm understanding correctly. I'm kinda surprised I was able to obtain password knowing his eis coil was damaged.

      How did you pull the key password? Using existing key or APB125?

      @globalcommerce7654 I guess sense the coil was broke the only reason I was able to retrieve a password was because of apb125 also his key was damaged so yea.

      ​​​@@segounlocks5029but the apb125 is the IR adapter so if IR receiver of EIS was damaged how come IR adapter worked to collect data?
      If IR receiver / coil is damaged in W204 EIS you cant retrieve password from it because this EIS password can be read only via IR.
      But assuming you somehow get it, yes all you do is write data from original EIS with it's password to the donor EIS, activate it with original keys at last step

      @piotrkacprzak2861 That's what confused me. I waited 3 hours to calculate the password and got it. But the eis is damaged it doesn't put out a signal. I must have got lucky, but I didn't because the eis and key are still with me . Because he didn't pay me after I got done because it's not putting out a signal. He broke the protector ring, and all the coil wires were all messed up. But because I got a password, I figured we were good. I keep telling him to buy a new eis, but it's been 3 months, and he hasn't. So the car is sitting there over a $200 eis makes no sense. But he will never get it going because I got eis and the eis backup. It would cost a lot to go to the dealer and fix it. Thanks for the comment.
