In one of his interviews, Alejandro said he was not good at "covering other people's songs". Well, let me tell you: Soon others will be covering YOUR original songs because YOU are so talented and a genius on guitar and piano - and of course, your song writing is amazing. Brings chills to my bone EACH time - EVERY song! ALEJANDRO, YOU are the true American Idol!!!!! There has been no one like you in any of the talent shows. SO if you don't win, I will be extremely shocked. BUT... YOU will be the one that will make it and YOU will be the one that people will remember for years and years to come.... Congratulations to Laine. He was our choice from the beginning. Of the two, Laine has the voice, personality and good looks, hence, the whole package. Alejandro can be boring, and lacks in personality. As Katie Perry, mentioned, Laine is authentic and I might add, humble.

I stopped watching AI for some years. I missed it somehow. When I started to watch AI this year, 2019, Laine Hardy is the first one I saw performed, in Hawaii and sang "Come Together" by the Beatles. I was in awe when I saw him, a young, good looking, decent, nice voice, knows how to play the guitar and sang one of my and my brother's fave song of the Beatles; I got hooked by him. I rooted for him right away and watched him till he won the AI 2019 and still watching. I have also been watching his old videos before he joined AI and after the AI.

Singing the song is not just about hitting the right notes, it's about the feeling you put into those notes... needs to get out of his head and into the notes.
